Movies you hate or think are overrate that everyone else loves.

shaolin monks is pretty good, if only it wasn't so hard and you didn't have to backtrack every second of the game

pretty good for multiplayer, still theres better out there

I own a copy but haven't taken the shrinkwrap off of it yet! I'm so far behind on my gaming to-do list.

I'm more into SoulCalibur anyway. Plus, there's no movie or comic to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Soul Calibur is fantastic. Too bad I can't play #3, but I love my copies of the first two. Or wait, should I say "my copies of the second and third"? I mean, there's always "Soul Blade" gumming up the works...

if you don't have any friends, keep it on and get your money back

Maddagascar was also overrated aswell as underworld
Madagascar is awesome... :csad: I love it!

now underworld is okay.. in the other hand underworld evolution... not so much

I forgot to mention Shrek... I can't understand for the life of me why anyone likes this, let alone why any critics thought it was "clever" when it was the oldest kind of humor. I mean, crap, Rocky & Bullwinkle were making fun of fairy tales in the '60s, and doing MUCH BETTER AT IT, because they were actually funny instead of just annoying.

it wasn't clever because it made fun of fairy tales, it was clever because it managed to do it whilst producing a comedy for both adults and children alike mixing mature humour with disney images

I don't hate the Shrek movies, but I do think they-like pretty much anything Mike Myers does-are a bit overrated.

The critics' reviews when the movie came out mostly lauded it for its satire of fairy tales.

And it... just... wasn't... funny to me. It was painfully annoying and stupid.

Agreed!

Am I the only one here who likes the Shrek franchise and is looking forward to Shrek The Third?

yeah sorry, your on your own, at least your unique?

I have kids; I'm not gonna be able to dodge Shrek 3. But I can take or leave it.

Star Wars films. Just not my thing. I figure its more of a kids film and am surprised so many adults are attracted particularly to it.

I don't hate these movies and actually like some of them quite a bit but here goes.

The Terminator (T2 is better by miles)

T1 is hardcore too. Those flicks showed me what scifi was all about

Cameron was one of those guys who planted the fork in the road for scifi/fantasy imo around Star Wars era. Variety is nice

Munich.

Probably the only film so loved by, well, everyone. I thought whoever edited it together was on crack. Scenes that should have ended went on for 5 more minutes, and other scenes ended in the middle of conversations. The best parts of the movie reminded me of the worst parts of Ronin.

To be honest, I don't like such Stanley Kubrick classics as 2001: A Space Odyssey and while I don't deny that his adaptation of The Shining is scary as Hell, there's a kind of... I dunno, "wordiness" or long-windedness to his directorial style that just bugs the Hell out of me.

I don't like The Man Who Fell To Earth or Requiem for a Dream either.I nearly threw up watching those movies.

Munich is one of the worst films I've seen this year, I hated it, poorly wirtten, acted, developed and filmed, a waste of time and money.
