Movies you'd like to see get made.

I think putting it in the 50's would give it that cool B movie feel. But imagine the 50's B movie with a 70's horror film like Alien and something epic like King Kong.

Nah, don't do that. Then you'd just be remaking a movie that takes place in the same time period that original was made in. What's the fun in that? You'd only be expanding on what we've already seen.

I'd say go with Victorian. You can have so much more fun with it, especially with the science. Think about it. Darwin has just published "On The Origin of Species", his theory of evolution taking England, and the world by storm. Very controversial. Throw in sci-fi elements. Gill-man found in South America. You can take alot of Darwinian theory and flip it on it's head and get outlandish with some of the science. Not to mention, by setting it during the Victorian era, you automatically have atmosphere.

I should also point out, that regardless of how you do it, if you exclude Captain Lucas, you automatically FAIL!:woot:

Have to agree with this. Well, I could really care less about Cap. Lucas..but someone similar would work.

It's very interesting way to deal with the Gill-Man. It's compltely different setting than we're use to. No new sound technology, and dealing with old science and the appearent unknown creature that will no doubt evolve over time.

But the question would be...would people be interested in it? It's definatly different way to do it, and would justify remaking the 'Creature'. But then again, somewhere in side me says it might come off boring.

I know it's been like, 6 years or something but I still wanna see the Sands character from Once Upon a Time in Mexico get a spinoff, dammit. Johnny Depp was awesome in the role and I'd like to see him do it again.

He should get bionic laser eyes. He ends up hooking up with Cherry Darling, and they both fight Nazi Zombie Pirates together.

Dinosaur movie? Like Cloverfield style, really scary and dark

Damn, this is a great idea.

I need to do some more research on Darwinism. Learned about it last year but forgot about it.

And that would kind of set it off from something like King Kong. Not to mention it justifies the undiscovered places in the Amazon more.

A Monkey Island cartoon movie.

A movie based around the general idea of Assassin's Creed (an assassin is tasked with killing people who stand in the way of peace in the Holy Land) would also be cool.

A big budget live-action 'Fist of the North Star' movie that has as much scale and scope as the source material that its based on.

Gary Daniels aside, the last 'effort' was a pile of balls.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis could stand an animated adaption somewhat like the Bruce Timm movies.

That would be cool. Who do you think could play Altair?

I want to see them make the LUKE CAGE movie and the IRON FIST movie back-to-back, like the same year or a year apart. Then right after, do the team-up movie.

i hope get can finally restart the Spawn series

A REAL Mario Bros. movie

Hellz yeah

A decent Conan film. Gears of War. Halo

Those would be UBER-EPIC:wow:

DBZ (you know, except good)
lol. agreed :hehe:

-A really great Jaws sequel. Not a reboot, but a film that understood the fundamentals of suspense and atomsphere, and could include some good character work.
-Silver Surfer movie
-Incredible Hulk sequel

A Dr.Doom Origin movie based on Book of Doom.

I'd love to see that, Dr. Doom is my all time favorite marvel villain (not at all like in the movies)

The Big Lebowski 2.

NO DOUBT!!!

Johnny Bravo starring The Rock (I think it got canceled but I want it to get made)
Daredevil relaunch
Fantastic Four relaunch
Clint Eastwood older Batman movie

All sound great!

freddy vs micheal vs jason movie
X-Men 4
Magneto spinoff
family guy : the movie
Superman reboot (where he actually fights) and the jude law as zod rumor intact
seth rogan's rumored muppet movie

a live-action family guy movie would rock :hehe:

Luke Cage

Heroes for Hire is what i'd hope for

I could dig into a Big Lebowski 2. I actually think the Coens could come up with another story.

And a Jaws sequel? I have no idea what a good story would be.

I doubt there's much you can do for another Jaws sequel without it turning back into the sort of "This Weekend On Syfy" dreck that put the series under to begin with. The best hope of redeeming the franchise would now rest in the hands of Spielberg and Dreyfuss, neither of whom I'm sure would be particularly willing to do so.

That having been said, though, I had an idea a few years back for a "Jaws" sequel that focused on Brody's granddaughter (from "Jaws: The Revenge") that would have been more like a murder mystery that just happened to have sharks - plural - in it, where she would be an up-and-coming police officer in some major city on the continental U.S. (much as her grandfather was, with the NYPD, before moving to Amity), and someone from Amity ends up falling over dead in her arms, shot in the back. The whole mystery ends up luring her back to Amity Island, which is now effectively a ghost town, and there's strange goings-on at this mysterious installation built on the site of the former Cable Junction (from "Jaws 2"). There'd be shades of "Deep Blue Sea" and "Pirahna" in this one, but the focus is primarily on her trying to figure out what the heck is going on and having to deal with her own shark phobia in the process (as she would have been traumatized as a tot by seeing one of her best friends get chomped right in front of her, back in the Bahamas). Oh, and I'd change things up a bit with having more than one shark by having several different species of sharks involved.

Maybe it's finally time for a good Megalodon movie, with a good story, good actors and good FX. (I'm not talking SyFy, or megashark vs giant octopus), more jurassic park meets Jaws.

A Grand Theft Auto 4 movie.
Eastern promises meets Scarface and Goodfellas.
