MTV's The Challenge Thread

Yeah,it wasn't as exciting as previous years.Running laps doesn't feel as interesting as climbing a mountain or anything like the past ones,but I did enjoy the reunion though.

It was more intense for sure. Not too sure how bad I feel for Abram since its been on record he has been a major jerk to Cara before but I guess it doesn't excuse her behavior. Oh well. Looks like there's going to be a new real world season coming up. Add that to my list of crappy reality shows I enjoy.

Not only do I not feel bad for him, but I also think MTV's Scarlet Letter treatment of Cara is shady as hell. Earlier this season, they had a guy with a pregnant girlfriend back home who was hooking up with a girl on the first night. And then when it came to his aftershow, it was like "Oh my gosh, you injured yourself, how are you feeling?" and completely moved past that. Johnny Bananas, from what I understand, has had a girlfriend back home when he's up in the Challenge, hooking up with any chick stupid enough to end up in his web, but that s*** gets swept under the rug. Cara snuggles up to a guy, maybe exchanges a kiss or two and it's like "THIS F***ING ****E, lets dedicate an entire aftershow to shaming her! Johnny Bananas and Vince, you both had almost nothing to with this, you want in on the Cara-shaming?"

And then...

I rolled my eyes any time Bananas made himself out to be altruistic in wanting Abe to know what was going on. It was clearly a game move, and you could tell because he didn't want to get blood on his hands, so he had Vince go tell Abram about the whole thing, rather than taking him aside and talking to him man to man.

It's true. Literally ten minutes before they all decided to drag the Abram thing back into the spotlight, they were all high fiving and having a good laugh over Cory.

I randomly saw a commercial om MTV about the upcoming season of Real World and they're doing challenges. So it's basically Road Rules?

I'm guess Zach and someone from Knights family will be doing a demo of an upcoming challege. Which is why he was in the previews at the beginning of the season.

I randomly saw a commercial om MTV about the upcoming season of Real World and they're doing challenges. So it's basically Road Rules?

Sorta,it's still very much Real World.The Challenges vary from Jumping out of Hot air Balloons to finding your biological parents.I like to think of it as more of the producers meddling out of the open than in the shadows like before.

Ugh, Jesus, this cast is awful. Johnny's cousin again? He's a terrible competitor AND a terrible person. F***ing Tony? Bananas being old enough to have fathered half this season's cast? Christ.... I'm praying Sarah wins. She's the only likable one in the bunch. Or maybe Jaime.

I haven't watched Challenges since 2011 I think. I barely know any of these people.

They need to get Alton (RW: Vegas), Darrell (RR: Campus Crawl), and Landon (RW: Philadelphia) on a team. Most unstoppable team ever.
