I'm not sure I get the logic behind "Eric should get over it because he hasn't lost any more weight." If MTV is going to give Laurel the opportunity to film bull**** apologies then I'm fine with him getting the camera time to call her on it.

He should move past it because he has to at some point. Unless he's supposed to live his whole life devastated that an angry drunk chick called him names. No reason to give her that much power.

B/c ethnicity and sexuality can't be changed. All E has to do is eat like 5 less whoppers a week and he'll be good.

And black people can wear make-up to look white and gay people can act straight. There are ways for everyone to conform that doesn't mean they should just to please the small minded. Eric can lose weight to be healthier if he chooses but he shouldn't have to for people to treat him with respect. I'm tired of people being such hypocrites when it come to discrimination.

I agree that he shouldn't feel like he needs to lose weight to gain anyone's respect. If he doesn't see the need to improve his health, that's cool. But people are occasionally going to bring it to his attention in a not-so-nice way. I see what you're saying, but I don't feel much sympathy for E

At this point, the fact that he's still just as fat as he was 6 years ago says to me he doesn't care about being in better shape. If he's content to be as he is, he should have a thicker skin. (no pun)

Not meaning he can't be upset when someone attacks him - if you read back in this thread, I was furious over what Laurel did. But it was almost half a year ago in real time. This is a grown adult man we're talking about....and now he just sounds like a baby, turning the Reunion into a spectacle over a drunk girl's rant.

My guess is Eric has been big all his life and if so he has probably been teased quite a bit, that can mess with a person a great deal and I'm speaking from experience. Unless you have been brutally teased over a long period of time which I assume Eric has you can never really understand how the smallest comment can mess with a person and what Laurel said I'm guessing shredded him. When you've been teased over a long period of time you get beat down and things hit you harder and stay with you longer.

Oh the next season is going to be so Good. It's called The Challenge Rivals: The Jungle. The concept is that two people of the same sex will be pired together and have to come together to win. The twist? They had an altercation, fight or drama in a previous season. Here's the cast

The Laurel and Cara Marie team up should be good especially since she HATED Cara Marie last season. I wonder how well they will work as a team.

As for who might win? My money is on Wes and Kenny. They are arubaly the best competitors on this thing. They are also smart and I think can put aside their differences in order to win. I definetly dont see a woman team winning. Women can be crazy and dont let sh-t slide like that. They will be more self destructive than the men

I have no doubt about that! That is a pure (maybe the purest) case Jock vs. Geek. CT is just a pure meathead (from a city known for racist meatheats), and Adam's the insecure, woe-is-me harmony baby. And to be honest, their last two times beefin', Adam was tryin' to get gully and bit off more than he could chew.

I could see Wes and Kenny semi burying their **** to win, though.

They're most likely to disregard females, and acquire monetary compensation. With the knowledge that they have to rely on each other and have to win together, they'll sooner put aside their crap to get the job done.
