Mutant Cameo's?

When asked if there were going to be any mutant cameo's, Hugh Jackman replied, "It's a prequel, so there won't be many. There will be other new characters."

So, "there won't be many" doesn't mean no....right? So what mutants from the X-Verse would work in a Wolverine movie? I think both Psylocke and Gambit could work in Wolverine's world. And of course Alpha Flight, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike (despite these two already being done)...Silver Samurai perhaps?

Persoanlly, I 'd like to see some mutant cameo's? Maybe I'm the only one? I don't want it to feel like X-Men 4 though...

The Blob has been confirmed to be in the Wolverine movie. Hope theres more. The Blob isnt exactly part of Wolverine's "Rogues Gallery".

Please say that's a joke. I haven't been following the Wolverine pre-production so I'm in the postion to believe anything anyone says. The Blob is just...so MEH...ya know? He's fat...and tall...and boring!

Wolverine is Canadian, you know. I didn't say they'd introduce the whole team, but I would expect to see character cameos.

Maverick is a must. Depends on how far back we're talking here. Sabretooth, Maverick, and Omega Red are all deeply connected with Wolverine. Deadpool and Lady Deathstrike are definately good candidates for cameos. Both direct results of Wolverine's experiments.

IF Alpha Flight characters make an appearance, I'll put bets on Guardian/Vindicator, Puck, Shaman, and one other (Sasquatch or one of the twins. no Snowbird and no Marrina).

Maverick is Agent Zero so he is in the movie.

Agent Zero is rather recent though...I'd prefer him as Maverick with his Maverick powers...Oh well. Maybe it'll be a situation where Sabretooth is hunting Wolverine and Agent Zero is hunting Sabretooth. Guy can kill both of em if he felt like it.

...Damn it. Now I want to read my old Weapon X issues. If Agent Zero is in this, we can probably count on seeing a lot more than just him. I'm thinkin' The Director, Sauron, Wildchild, etc. Maybe they'll be trying to re-recruit him or something.

The way that Latino Review described him in the script, Agent Zero was essentially Stryker's bodyguard. He was omnipresent but said very little, popped his knuckles a lot, and did not seem to like Logan much. He may end up being a "silent, but violent" antagonist to Logan like Sabretooth, Deathstrike, and Juggernaut were.

I hope not though. I love David North as a character, both as Maverick and Agent Zero. He and Logan have a certain respect for one another that I hope will be brought to the screen.

Aww, man. I hope that doesn't turn out to be the final version of the character. It's like they're turning all of Logan's foes into mutes.

We'll see. Maybe Zero will turn on Stryker at the very end and help Logan. The review didn't give away the third act of the film at all.

Sabretooth straight up defeated Maverick pretty easily. He put his claws through Mavericks chest. Made a big hole. Cant remember how he survived.
