The Blob has some potential as a minor villain... I mean, Wolverine's not just going to be able to go with the old school grab and stab against him.

Besides, I wanna see how they portray a character like The Blob.

A word to fans though... I doubt they'll run many Alpha Flighters out there. They haven't enough exposure... We'll get one or two cameos, but I'd be that's it.

Oh come on now, give them a LITTLE more credit. They certainly wouldn't let Blob be a tactical team leader or anything. Though he could be just a big dumb stand alone villain Wolvie stumbles across.

Well... Deadpool is technically affiliated with the Weapon X program, so they could come up with something if they really wanted to.

But I'd bet Marvel won't let them, since a Deadpool film has got to be floating around in Avi Arad's mind right now.

I mean... They're making films about damn near every other hero in the Marvel Universe, so Deadpool's day will come soon enough.

Wait... Deathstrike was in X2, and was introduced as an entirely new character that had basically just been created/given the adamantium.

So how in the hell would she be in a prequel without ruining continuity?

Deathstryke would be incredibly easy to introduce in a prequel without ruining continuity. Like in the books, she believes Wolverine is responsible for dishonoring her father... but rather than submit herself to Spiral's otherwordly Body Shoppe, she submits herself to the adamantium bonding process in order to exact revenge upon Wolverine...

It's the exact same story. Deathstryke's means of augmentation has just been changed... that and the fact that at some point Stryker has other plans for her.

It could be a nice idea to see Deathstrike in the Wolverine story... we could see her right at the end, having been 'augmented' with adamantium (We'd need a line: 'He dishonoured my father - and me. He deserves to die.' and Stryker telling her 'One day you will get your chance, we will find Logan again, you will have your revenge.')

But I've a feeling they won't bother to add this particular piece of backstory.

I'm thinking maybe Mr Sinister coud be a nice idea, if they just show him a little, as being someone pulling strings in backstage, and they did the same thing with the magneto movie, and then have sinister as the main villain in X4

Um...what does Sinister have to do with Wovlerine? It's Cyclops and Jean Grey he's interested in.

Wouldn't work; mainly b/c Sinister has no connection to Wolverine. If the movie is primarily about him, then Sinister will be very much out of place.
