Mutant Cameo's?

This is gonna be a trilogy man.

I doubt it.

In all honesty, I don't think "Wolverine" is going to be as successful as a lot of folks believe it will be...

That, and there's no way Jackman can do many more of these things without looking physically older.

Um...what does Sinister have to do with Wovlerine? It's Cyclops and Jean Grey he's interested in.

Cyclops and Jean are dead in the movieverse, and unlikely to return. There would be no problem in showing Sinister as a colleague or employee or even a boss of Stryker. Someone sinister looking and called Dr Essex who is perhaps rebelling against Stryker to some extent. He could even escape with a lot of Stryker's research at the end of the movie.

The fanboys won't go for it. Like I said, there is no link b/w Sinister and Wolverine. It's dumb.

IMO.

It would be just a cameo, it's not like he is a main part of the plot. And Sinister fits with the idea of experimentation and enhancement of mutation...

Damn fanboys! :woot:

Rubbish. And, for your information, one of the Weapon X scientists was named in the comics as Robert Windsor, an alias for Mr Sinister. And some of the experiments conducted by Weapon X were based upon the journals of Sinister. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weapon_X You'll see Sinister in the list of former directors and scientists at Weapon X)

So, not only are you factually wrong, but I think you are over-reacting about fanboyism when this could be a cool nod. Especially since Cyclops and Jean's link to Sinister is hardly likely to be explored anytime soon.

Cool. I had no idea of that. So he could be a cameo in both movies (with the nazis in Magneto should be really easy), and then in X4, being faithful to the comics.

Well I didn't know that! So I'm sorry.

I feel like Marvel wouldn't be high on letting them use Sinister, if only to preserve him for any potential future X-Movies.

I dont see how it wont be becouse Wolverine is Marvel's second most popular character. Most of the other Marvel movies were very successful but Wolverine wont be?

Maybe, but Arnold was going on 60 and look how young Hollywood made him look in T3.

Not to mention the possibility of doing reverse aging, like it was done for Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan in X3.

DEADPOOL!!!!
...just a cameo... they already said he was too complicated for his own film... just give us a cameo... in the Weapon X waiting room or something...:woot:

I'd rather the movie concentrated more on Wolverine and the development of the character. I'd much, much rather it was a well made character driven movie with Wolverine than it be crammed with as many cameos as possible. Sabretooth could be the antagonist, but any other mutants should be used sparingly, if at all.

A lot of people seem to want Deadpool. Understandable, I love Deadpool. Too distracting for a Wolverine movie. What I would love to see is a Marvel Productions tradition is before each Marvel movie is a ten minute short starring Deadpool. That way you don't have to keep up the frenetic humor of a Deadpool comic for more than ten minutes. And you get a little short Deadpool movie along with another movie.

But even 10 minutes of pure Deadpool will get the audience juiced enough that they will want more. Even still, you bring up a good idea.

I don't know about everyone else but, realistically, I think they should just throw in a little Easter egg where Logan has a quick encounter with a smart-alicky kid named Jack who just has a witty one-liner and then is never seen again.

...as far as Sabretooth... I'm pretty sure he'll have a pretty strong role in this movie regardless of which story/stories the writers have planned to use.

If this is about Wolverines past, they could mention him fighting alongside Captain America. Maybe just as a flashback. With his own movie on the way, they won´t be willing to show too much of Cap. But for us fans, an uncostumed man named Steve Rogers would be cameo enough.

^^^ yeah... me & my homeboy were talking about that last night. That would be spectacular.

Omega Red should be in it!! I have been waiting ever sine that stupid rumor that Wolvie would face off against Red and Gauntlet in the forest. If he isn't in there i would be so pissed! But i am pretty sure that Sabertooth and Deadpool have to be in it especially Creed.

While I doubt we'll see Alpha Flight it would be nice to see a young James Macdonald in there somewhere doing somthing for the Government.

Alpha Flight would be the sickest of all, but it'll be a cold day in hell that they introduce a Canadian team of superheroes in the wolverine movie lol.

yeah that would be really cool but this is hollywood

I thought one of the script reviews noted that the Hudsons would be in the movie... although a different version of them, or so it sounds.

A Lady Deathstrike or Omega Red cameo would be nice.

There was set report of a scene at Cassidy's bar a few months ago which implies that Sean Cassidy will be in this. A little strange but then again Gambit is making an appearance too.:o

They are in the script I have (wich is an old pre-strike version)

They are a couple of farmers that find Logan naked in the barn

Thanks. That's what I thought.

:woot: It may sound stupid to everyone else, but I'd love to see a Wolfsbane cameo set somewhere in the present if they're going with flashbacks.

I mean, if we're already getting Gambit, that would make my year!

I know it's highly unlikely to happen (Read:Not gonna happen at
all), but as long as we're tossing 'em out there, that's one I would
enjoy.

Hmm.
Sean is connected to Moira who is connected to Rahne.:O

It wouldn't have to be anything much. Maybe something like Logan
running into a little red-headed girl with short hair who's playing outside
a church. Something like that.

Yes, I know, I'm pathetic. I want to see Wolfsbane in a Wolverine movie.
How random can you get?!

Actually, I just remembered Beak. Why not give someone else a fair shot?
They got in X-Force together, after all. So, perhaps it's not that far-fetched.
