Haven't seen either, but I'm voting TDKR simply because my reasons for not seeing it were more along the lines of being tired of this incarnation of Batman rather than generally being dissatisfied by every single thing I've heard about the movie, as with ASM.

I'm ok with people not liking TDKR, or even the whole trilogy. but I'm tired of stupid arguments like "this is teh overrated, only teh nolanites love it, blabla". You don't like it? Fine. But at least respect those who like it.

It's been the "in" thing for a minute because it's true. If it wasn't for Ledger's Joker, it wouldn't have made the money it did. So yeah, the way some fanatics hype this trilogy up, yes it is very overrated. I think it's a tid bit above average but very much overrated.
