My Superhero Collection (Sideshow/Bowen/DC Direct)

the regular versions (just come with red bandanas) are still goin for around retail which was $200. The exclusive versions are the ones that come with the colored cartoon bandanas (so purple for donnie) and the donni exclusive already goes for about 350-400$ on ebay. Since Raph has red either way, his exclusive was a changeable hand so it isn't worth much more then $220

thanks SJ! I think its nicer then even the life size Spider-man that sideshow did. Its fresh from sideshow too, its just been released.

hahahahah I just imagined short rounds voice in my head with that quote hahaha priceless SJ, priceless. I gotta say thats my fave indiana jones movie, although most people think its the worst.

I know, i really need to get some lighting...so far I dont have ANY lighting in ANY of my display cases

 

my cases aren't workin so good for me now that I have a lot more sideshow stuff. The detolfs work great for bowen and DCD stuff, but sideshow stuff is usually too big. Later on in the week im going to go to ikea to check out some different display cases for my sideshow stuff thats currently just sitting on top of the detolfs (like indy) so hopefully some of those cases will have the built in lighting. One cool thing about the indy dio is the rock base splits in half, so you can detach the base, and the top part has holes in the back so it can be mounted on a wall! that would save a lot of room

and yes i agree, TOD is the best, I actually think the first movie is the worst of all 3. The more sideshow I collect the more its making me branch of from comic collectibles alone, and now I find myself getting stuff like indy dio, gi joe dio coming soon, etc.

 

Just got my first star wars 1/4 yesterday, Darth Talon!! and she is fantastic! Ill try and post some pics soon, but it might not be until the weekend

 

thanks man! i've decided im selling 95% of my whole collection though, I just have too much stuff, takes up way too much room and I dont want it anymore haha

 

some situations have changed, I realize that statue collecting isn't as important to me as I thought it was at this stage of my life. When im older and more settled I can collect whatever I want but right now its not in the cards for me, I have more urgent matters that need attending to. Plus it was just too much, its such a burden always worrying about whats coming out, who is getting what exclusive and when, priorty preorders all that crap haha its just such a heavy life burden that im sick of having to stay on top of, I just want to be free of it.
