thanks guys. Im really not overly sad about it really, Im confident im doing the right thing, and having all that dough coming in is gonna be fantastic. I am going to keep about 5-10 of my fave pieces though, which isn't bad considering i have about 250 now.

So your only selling your statues and busts right? It would suck if you got rid of your Awesome card and Graphic novel collection too.

no no cards and graphic novels are definatley staying. The way I look at it is I was always a fan of the artwork and comics, when I started collecting statues it seems I started mainly loving statues and not the artwork as much, I want to get back to that, I dont need a statue of spider-man for example to remind me of spidey, I just need to open a graphic novel or binder with cards or search for some artwork i've never seen before.

im going to sell it first on statuemarvels.com and statueforum.com, im gonna see if i can do some local sales first to thin it out, then ill open it to anyone on the forum. Whatever is left will hit the bay.

Hey Bizarro, let me know what you are after. I am still selling a bunch of stuff, I didnt list my sale thread here though, I put it on statue forum and kijiji. I've sold a decent amount of stuff but not really that much compared to what i have overall haha I thought it would make more of a dent but it hasent, doesnt help I got some new stuff over the past few months as well, but not nearly as much as I used to buy.

    The 1940's Bowen Cap?

If you're selling the Punisher statue, I have a friend that I'll show the pic to, I know he's looking for something like that.

They do, a quick Google of Sideshow Freaks should yield results :)

You'll have to message the Admin if you want to sell stuff but usually he'll accept. You should get some decent views there i know a lot of people over there are addicted so they'd probably sell a kidney to buy some of you're collection! (Hope i haven't jinxed you haha!)

I think that's the best DC diorama I've seen.

Damn Sparta your collection is seriously ridiculous....and incredibly enviable.

On a slightly sadder note, my girlfriend was moving my SS Bowen statue and she was holding it by the figure, not the base, the base slipped off and she dropped the whole thing.

I agree, it is by far the best DCD diorama ever made...and thanks for the compliments BH, im not buying any new stuff anymore though, if i do is very few and far between like 1 piece every 3 months or so (while before i'd get like 10 a month just ridiculous)

your gf broke the bowen action surfer? I remember how much you were looking forward to that one :( how does it look, fixable?

Can't remember brand new, I think I paid around $120-$150 on ebay in great shape.

Looks it's about the same still $150-$175 range.

Yeah, it was and still is pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, she didn't mean to and felt really bad, I didn't get mad at her, externally, internally I was like RHULK, HULK, and superboy prime combine!

It actually isn't that bad, very fixable [fixed] can't tell from a distance but anyone would notice close. The front of the stand broke about 1/2 inch in, and the board broke off of the stand but it did so cleanly. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

    So could be worse.
