I would like some feedback on my guys powers.
Super Strength(10 Tons)
Night Vision
Healing Factor
Can glide threw the air for over 2 miles
Has the ability to shoot iron razor blade sharp disc frmo his palms.

What do you guys think?

Razor-sharp discs would be an interesting weapon. The palm seems less dynamic than the fingers, back of the hand... why limit it to his palms if its not dependent on technology?

I suggest throwing out the healing factor. Then you don't have to drop bombs on him to get a scene of injury and suspense. You could just make him fairly tough-skinned and hard-boned.

Now I'd like to hear who he is; he sounds entertaining.

How would I go about selling my idea to marvel.

Do you have a plot, designs, backstory, supporting characters? Having those would be a good start.

What besides a list of powers have you come up with?

I've got the backstory etc, but I need to make up backstories for the rest of my characters. Once I've finished everything how would I go about selling my idea?
Thanks.

Companies like Marvel, DC, Image, ect., they don't really take new ideas all the time. In the last twenty years not a lot of new titles have come out of those houses, especially DC and Marvel. Most of the new characters are spin-off's from other titles, like The Young Avengers.

It is probably easier to pitch an idea if you worked for the company, not just walk in and say "I have this great idea, wanna buy it?". I don't think it works like that. But to tell you the truth I am not sure how to sell an idea, if it is possible. You should first work on your education (art and writing, whatever your speciallity is) and then try to get into the business. You are still young and going to school, right?

but there's been some awesome new titles that came out, such as Runaways.

I'm sure Brian K. Vaughan hard a really had time convincing them.

"Yeah, hi...I've been ghost-writing your dialogue and writing random issues here and there for you for 5 years. Also, my creator-owned series at Vertigo is hot as hell. Everyone wants a piece of me. Want to buy MY idea?"

^^ That was kind of my point, not just any person can come in and pitch an idea. You need to work in the business and establish yourself.

Just knock on their door, and go right in. I'm sure they'll have someone there to take care of all your needs.
