It's always a pleasure to talk to a fellow fanantic. I plan to see the movie 3 times but only once so far. ASM #18 is the FIRST Spider-Man comic I ever read.Yes that line does sound familiar.

I own Amazing Spider-man issue#18. I'm a huge Spidey fan and I love the Movies and the Comics. I have seen the film twice so far and plan on seeing it two more times this month. by the way, I have read all the Spidey comics.

I think there was also a comic where Venom ate Sandmans gut while in a brawl with Spidey. I guess they used that one too since thats probably the only comic where Venom and Sandman interact.

Great research. I think one of the things that distinguishes the Spidey movies form all other comic book movies, is the high level of SAMPLING of the various Spider-Man comic book stories.Spidey 3 even took from the 90's cartoons as well.
