Need For Speed

car action scenes look very ''amateurish''. but this is one good f.. cut trailer.

i like the shots where they are racing and a police helicopter is following them. after so many years and so many car action scenes i think it looks interesting.

thumbs up for showing only practical action scenes. i dont think i saw any cgi cars.

I feel like I saw maybe 1 or 2 cgi cars.

Looks cool. I'm always a sucker for well shot car chases and this looks to be just that

Ha! Perfect.

It looks a little too thick with melodrama, but I guess that's what happens when you try and add a 'compelling' story to a relatively straightforward game IP.

pretty awesome trailer. had my doubts about the film when it was first announced, but this trailer helped throw those doubts out the window. looks kind of like a cross between Fast & The Furious and Drive

I watched the trailer again. Actually looks good.

Oh my god I can totally picture someone pitching it to the studio like that...

I guess it had somewhat of a 'Drive' influence with the juxtaposition of the operatic and brutality, but without the visual beauty of that film.

I just don't see what in that trailer made it look bad.

Exactly...I was just going to post that same thing...What makes this look bad? In fact that trailer did a excellent job to hype the film.

I think people just hate the fact a movie based on a video game, Need for Speed is being made. or that this is taking itself seriously. Well it looks good so far.

I will see it eventually. I just dont see myself heading to the theaters. For this one

Looks like an honest effort went into this.

Could this be a turning point for video game movies?

Looks well shot and thrilling. I'm up for a good revenge/car chase film. I love a good revenge movie and I love a well shot car chase movie.

I think this looks like there is some effort, but it honestly looks boring and generic, not interested beyond Aaron Paul's involvement.

I highly disagree. I don't think any of it looks generic or boring

Given that video games are becoming more and more like movies themselves I'm doubtful.

How is that a bad thing?

Video game movies used to look like cheesy Direct to Video productions.

It's too early to tell but with serious adaptations of Assassins Creed and World of Warcraft we could be entering a golden age for video game adaptations.
