Don't know if this belongs here but here it goes. I have the same exact Tyler Stout print and it's definitely my favorite in my collection. But after seeing how much it's going for, I don't know if I should hold on to it. It's actually a tough decision for me but I definitely can get a lot of money for it. Or maybe I should wait and let the value go up. But I feel like I would instantly regret it if I sold it:

Are you strapped for cash?

I'm not really strapped for cash but I'm trying to move out of my parents house and into my own at the end of the year. This money would just go into the moving fund. I don't know. I may wait to see how much this auction ends at and decide then. But right now, I'm leaning towards not selling it. Just because I love it so much.

Also you have to take into account, has your poster been folded, creased, has it been in a frame since you got it? Does it have a COA?

I don't think you should sell. YOu said yourself you would regret it later. Plus if you sell and decide you want another one how much would it cost you then to buy it back?

If you aren't strapped for cash or in desperate need of money take a little longer to save up to move out rather than get rid of something you love.

You probably already checked this, but are you sure you have that same print? There were three versions made: Regular 300, Glow in Dark 50, and Variant 50. The one you linked to is the variant. And Erz made some great points that could factor in how much you could get by selling it. If I were in your shoes, I would probably sell it. It is currently at $650 with 5 days left. That's pretty impressive.

It has been framed since the day I received it in the mail, which is over a year ago. And it is indeed the variant. I think I'm just going to wait and see how much this person gets for his before deciding.

Yeah if it's $650 with 6 days ago, that's usually a good sign that it can go probably way over that. What you really have to think about is say you get $1,000 for it after all the shipping, ebay and paypal fees. Would $1,000 help you out that much? That doesn't sound like a huge amount of money in terms of housing, rent, etc.

Well the money would have been for other things, not rent. Like to help out with furniture or a TV purchase, and other similar things. But yeah, you all make good points. I'll let everyone know what I decide.

This kind of **** wont be high in price for ever, sell it while you can.

I had a rare coin that i sold when it was deemed rare in the news papers, if i had held onto it for even a month it would be worth next to nothing, i sold it the next day and brought a ps3 with the money ;)

Yeah, if I sold it, this money will most likely go towards a big ass TV for the new place.

man i was hoping you were selling one of the posters who post here.

i would bid on some. maybe lol

Yeah, he's a fantastic artist and I own a bunch of prints of his. I got Inglourious Basterds, Iron Man 2, and Lebowski up on my wall right now. And plenty more still sitting in the tubes.

i see that poster is nearing $700 dollars now

I decided to hold onto this poster for the time being but I am putting up three others for auction later today. Just putting it out there for anyone interested in buying rare silkscreened movie prints. I'll put up the links later. They are for Star Wars, The Shining, and Ong Bak 2.

put up the links when you can man. I'm interested in seeing what you are selling!

Will do! Setting up the auctions now.

It's not worth anything sitting in your house. Sell it.

Well I love collecting art and getting these movie posters has been my recent obsession. The dilemma is that I love this print so much and it looks amazing in the frame, hanging up on the wall. So it's kinda hard to part with a possession you love so much. So I'm just going to hold onto it for now, because only 50 of these exist and the demand is always going to be out there on this one because this is his most sought out poster next to Blade Runner and The Thing. I didn't buy all these prints to sell but there are some I'm going to part with. Just not this one yet.
