Need the name of a certain graphic novel.

I remember seeing on the main page a certain graphic novel was getting a movie adaption, but I cannot for the life of me remember what it was. All I know is that the main character dresses in a full body armor uniform that's all black, and has like a helmet with a visor. Sort of looks like a motor cycle helmet. One other detail I remember is that his outfit has like a pouch of m&ms or skittles on it, and in all the artwork I saw, they were spilling out.

Anyone have a clue as to what I'm looking for?

I think it has a post apocalyptic setting, and the main character has been a way for a while, and the start of the story he comes back.

I know this isn't very helpful, but the suit he wears was all I remembered. I don't think the announcement was that far back anyway. Could of been in November or October. I looked all the news entries up until that point and saw nothing that jogged by memory.
