It no biggy that Mall Cop has done well, Im just happy that Taken took the weekend.
I was really upset that this wasnt in the movie. I'll keep my fingers crossed for an Uncut dvdAh yes the same one who cut and chopped at Babylon AD until it made little sense

Ive only watched the edited version an even watching it you can tell there are obvious cuts and it hurts the film. I hate how in the trailers they show Neeson slamming the nails into the guys legs but its not in the movie. I enjoyed it but I know I would of liked it more if it was as it was originally made. I'll keep hoping for an uncut dvdI saw it tonight (Extended cut) and thought it was the best pure badass action movie ive seen in some time, I certainly hope the Brian Mills character gets another outing. Sure the daughter is supposed to be 17 but is written and directed like she is 12 and it's as basic a plot as you can get, but sometimes I just love a movie with a no frills hero laying a brutal ass whooping to the scum of the earth in exciting fashion, and this movie does it better than most thanks to Morel's eye for action and Nesson's wonderful presence as Mills (He's also very believable in the fight scenes), you simply root for him from frame one until the end.
8.5/10
Btw how the hell did they cut this to PG-13 and still have more than 70 minutes left ?![]()
Every time the daughter (for no reason) ran anywhere she looked like an idiot and I was forced to :facepalm. Almost like shes running at full speed yet is about to fall.I saw the movie last week and thought that it was tons of fun. The director is fantastic at action and LN is good as always. Sure the dialogue wasn't worth the paper it was writen on, sure the movie was cheesy, sure the daughter acted ******ed, sure the storyline was bearly there, sure the singer subplot was dumb and sure the movie didn't always make sense but dammit I liked it anyway. Neeson and the movie's action scenes= Spidey had lots of fun.
Glad to see that it's going to make 100mil overall.
I know exactly what you are talking about. The character was simply too old to be acting like that.Every time the daughter (for no reason) ran anywhere she looked like an idiot and I was forced to :facepalm. Almost like shes running at full speed yet is about to fall.
that girl deserved to die for being a snotty bi***
If I was her Id be mad at him for never teaching me how to run, the guys a "preventer" right? So prevent her from looking like a moron while runningI thought she was fine. They could have went the really annoying route where she's angry as hell for him never being there and stuff (kind of like Evan Rachel Wood in the Wrestler) But they didn't and I was glad about that. She made mistakes? Yep. Ran like a goof? Yep. But she didn't treat Bryan like total crap and that made me happy.

It's all so true.Something that really bothers me is that Bryan was made to look like an ass because he was safety concious of his 17 year old daughter touring in Europe unattended.
Is it just me or even in real life, even if her holiday went off without a hitch, wouldn't he be completely justified? It's a 17 year old and a 19 year old. Alone. In a foreign continent. To put the guilt trip on Bryan makes Lenore not only a ***** but a horrifically negligent parent and his daughter a dumbass. Bryan didn't need to slaughter Europe, he just needed to ***** slap some sense into his ex-wife.
It's cool that she didn't hate him but I still didn't like the character because she acted like a ******ed 12 year old girl and she was 17 years old.I thought she was fine.
