Marcin PrzybyłowiczWho is y'alls composer choice?
I'd love for Abel Korzeniowski to do the score. Or Bear Mccreary.
Skellige theme is the most memorable for me. It's just... ahh. I want to move there.I hope whoever scored The Witcher 3 does. The soundtrack was fantastic and the main theme is so memorable, especially when playing at Kaer Morhen.

I’ll be very intrigued to see who they bring in for those 2 roles. Crucial for sure.Ultimately, what will make or break the adaptation for me - supporting cast. Ciri, Yennefer and other. Geralt isn't a hard character to cast.
I think during the press tour for Mission Impossible, Cavill stated that he would want to play Geralt because he's a fan of the books and he was doing a second play through of Witcher 3. After that BossLogic did the fan art. So maybe all it took was an actor stating their desire for the roll to get it.I am very interested in seeing this, the general world intrigues me & has done for a while. I've been meaning to actually pick the games up in a Steam sale & I may do so to engross myself in the general concept more.
I wonder did Cavill's casting spawn from that fan art from BossLogic, he did one months ago with him as Geralt that I recall.
Nah, the showrunner said he first started talks with them about it 4 months ago, which means he knew this was a very real prospect at the very least when all that went down during the MI6 press tour.I think during the press tour for Mission Impossible, Cavill stated that he would want to play Geralt because he's a fan of the books and he was doing a second play through of Witcher 3. I also never saw Mads as Geralt. I didn't have anyone specific in mind, but Mads is old and doesn't give me a low-born vibe. He would make a great king or a sorcerer though, imo.
Who knows, but it can’t have hurt.I am very interested in seeing this, the general world intrigues me & has done for a while. I've been meaning to actually pick the games up in a Steam sale & I may do so to engross myself in the general concept more.

Jesus Christ. I just tried watching Grace’s video about this news, I guess because I’m a glutton for unbridled torture.
There’s a lot to unpack there but basically, she says this announcement is “embarrassing” for Cavill because it’s proof that he’s failed as a movie star and is most likely no longer DC’s Superman, but that’s no suprise because she “hears things” (Trump voice) about Cavill being disliked in Hollywood for being an all around horrible person.
Oh and also, all movie stars who are doing TV are only doing it because their box office numbers are crap and they can’t hack it in movies. She uses Chris Hemsworth, Amy Adams and Bryan Cranston as examples. That was the point where I turned it off. I probably missed some interesting tidbits about Steven Spielberg being a failed filmmaker or Daniel Day Lewis being being unwatchable but I guess I’ll just have to live with myself.
ill prob get slammed for it, but i feel like Cavill needs to lean out a bit to look just right. geralt isnt superman buff.
Yennefer's personality is massively more rich than Triss. I forced myself to choose Triss during one of playthroughs just to see different routes and endings, but eh... Between the two it's Yennefer all the way. Strange thing, people with most annoying tempers seem to be best drinking buddies - Yen and Lambert.Yennefer's personality is very important to me. Strong-willed, emancipated waifu. For whatever reason whenever I play Witcher 3, I can't go with Triss. I simply couldn't get enough of Yennefer's personality. Maybe it's her sense of humor. I really enjoy her dry wit. Like when Geralt tells her about going to fight Imlerith with Ciri, and Yennefer is like "Good I'm glad you went with her." And Geralt's so surprised, "What if we had lost." Without even losing a beat, Yennefer replies, "Then we wouldn't be having this conversation. And the female half of the continent would be drowning in tears."
Cavill will be happy not to lift tons of iron for the job. He needs to get a bit more lean for sure.ill prob get slammed for it, but i feel like Cavill needs to lean out a bit to look just right. geralt isnt superman buff.
