Fantasy Netflix's The Witcher - General Discussion Thread

Rewatching Black Sails and I can't help but be pissed that Zach McGowan isn't Geralt.

Also Bear McCreary would probably make a killer score for a Witcher show.

That show really sold me on him playing Geralt. Apparently he did go in for it, but Hissrich made it clear Cavill was her first choice after meeting with him in April 2018. Even before they started testing other actors, Cavill was the guy she wanted.

McGowen though was my first choice for Geralt.

If the showrunners and cast are gonna be at Comicon there is a high chance something will be shown. Whether that will be released online is another matter. The public might have to wait longer for a trailer.

I think it just depends if they want to give the show the Comic-Con push or not. Also it depends on what they show. Like they might release a Comic-Con trailer but if they have extra scenes those probably won't get released.

Like I recall a Luke Cage panel at Comic-Con and I think they released like a trailer for the show at Comic-Con but the panel showed a lot of extra scenes with extended footage that didn't get released from the first season.

if it wasnt for the Witcher series coming out id probably cancel Netflix cause there is never anything really worth watching and its so over saturated with shows that i have no desire to watch any of them.
