He mentions hope of seeing the RtK sequence and it sounds like the storyline of S'uperman being tricked' into believing Krypton existed was in the original cut afterall.

One thing whether you have gripes on anything related to Routh he is first and foremost a knowledgable Superman fan. Which none of the other actors were before they began the role



I feel like Routh is getting more bold in that he knows what the fans want. He keeps up with the MB's (this is fact)... So when he comes across things like fans wanting Brainiac, action, throwing punches, not sold on Zod as the baddie, etc... he is now sticking up for us the fans.



Think about it. He may not know ANY of the process for the pre-production yet or where the script is heading but he knows what the fans want. What better way to get the message across than dropping these hints on various interviews? I bring back my phrase that never caught on.
