New F/X Show Damages

I really like this show, but it's getting to be borderline rediculous of just how much has been "set up" in advance. It seems like so much could have gone so wrong if anyone did anything just slightly differently... but of course, I guess things really did go pretty wrong, so maybe I should shut up, sit back, and watch these people's lives fall apart. But really, if the reason her fiance is dead is because their entire relationship has been set up years earliar by Patty and she flips out and kills him or some **** then I am officially done with this show!

It's great, but not Nip Tuck or Rescue Me or The Shield great.

few things are season one or two Nip Tuck great... but this beats the later seasons hands down, imo.

I have this running theory that patty is good, and that either the lawyer guy that ellen is talking to in the future or tom is the actual person that tried to have her killed off.

just a theory.

yeah... im gonna miss it this week! :(

i know a week seems so long when you have so many cliffhangers and open ended plot lines! oh well, just building up my anticipation more. i cant freaking wait for next week. my eyes will be glued to the TV.

i know. i love the actress that plays ellen.. she was in the movie 'sunshine'... she was really good in it too.

yea, i really like rose byrne. ill havent seen sunshine, but i will check it out for her. really i think the whole cast is fantastic. danson, byrne, donovan, and of course close all shine -- but even the bit players are doing a great job with their roles, like katie the sister, where did she come from? she is awesome.

katie was a pleasant surprise... she's had some heavy scenes (like ID-ing the body of her brother) and she has really pulled them off, imo.

bump for tonight! after two weeks we get a new episode. i am so pumped to have this back. i missed damages last week. wonder what will happen next.

I'm back. Man, this show is taking so many turns it's not funny. The chick was trying to kill Greg the whole time. Now Patty is the one protecting Greg after she had the dog killed. I hope the chick hitting on Ellen's finace isn't too big of a role. What's up with the apartment not being trashed?

This show is good, but by the repsonses on this thread, it's not really discussion worthy.

I'm kinda getting tired of watching Rose Brynes character kissing Patty Hues ( Glenn Close) ass all ep, every ep. Only reason i remembered posting on this thread is because of yesterdays ep where they showed that psycho chick, who's grandfather was sick and Ellen fianace treated him-she's smoking! He should have hit it!

Plus seeing Ted Danson nailing Spidey 2's Ms.Doc Ock (Donna Murphy) over the table was worth a mention!

I think most of us just don't want to spoil it for people, even by putting things in spoiler tags.....its too good to even give people the chance of seeing spoilers.....

The story is so interconnected that even talking about past shows gives away too much.....

I'm so curious as to what is happening with Patty now, where the hell is she????? And I'm sure it will be the WTF moment #150 for me in this series...lol

Wow the events of this show have started to finally come full circle. I think next season (if there is one) will be about Patty getting Elene off for Davids murder, and whatnot.......

Yeah, 'cause they really can't resolve that in next week's episode. The show's definitely been keeping me on the edge of my seat every week. Last week's episode was REALLY good.

true
the story lines are getting really ridiculous

Nice ending. I wonder if Froburster died? Anyhow, i hope we get another season of this.

I love that over the course of the season, you really started to feel more sympathy for Frobirsher. I was actually happy when the other plaintiffs cut the old guy out of the settlement money.

There's definitely a lot that still needs to be resolved, and I hope FX renews it. Next to Burn Notice, this was probably my favorite show of the summer.

I was so freakin pissed that I missed the finale.....thank god its FX and they'll show it 30 more times this week....lol

I was suprised that it was infact Patty that tried to have Elene killed. I guess Elene isn't as naive as she makes out to be.

Next seasons 'Payback' scenerio should be good.

EDIT: This is not shown at the same time WW, other areas have not seen the season finale yet....please be respectful of that and use spoilers when speaking of specifics. Thanks

Can't wait. Ellen looks like she's stepped over to the dark side in order to beat Patty at her own game........

..i'm also psyched that Nip/Tuck is returning too.
