well sandmans main goal in this film is to not only save his daughter but to save his whole family because of how poor they are. he doesn't care about himself (although he is a sympathetic villian in the movies all the way) and he really has no other purpose in his life right now. his wife and daughter are the only things he cares about and in fact he's willing to risk his own life to save them. until he transforms into sand then he's unstopable. It's still the same thing though, I mean he stops fighting because of his daughter which is sad and shows how much more his family means to him than killing spidey.I have no problem with Sandman being an anti-hero, using the term loosely. Whether or not his daughter is ill, he still leaves a life of crime, robbing, looting, and even killing (possibly more then once). True, his "motive" is to save his daughter, however, I have a distinct feeling his doing it for himself as well.
Besides, Sandman goes good in the comics anyway.
I like the idea of Harry trying to manipulate Mary Jane.
That's from Spidey's first battle with Sandman during Spider-Man Day I think. Premiere Magazine confirmed that Spidey would save Gwen in his first battle. Also, she has the pink shirt she was wearing at SPider-Man Day on.
This coming from a guy who hasn't read either of them obviously. You Think!?!Hell, you been saying with certainty that it is, now you think. Sound like a Flip-Flopper to me.
Boy I can not wait when everything yall say is going to happen because of your belief in the Q&A and Script Summary, both fan made, does not turn out exactly the way you think. EGG on your FACE my friends.![]()
they can, because when brock dies, the symbiote can just crawl into the ocean or hide in the sewer. I mean the symbiote doesn't have to bond with somebody to stay alive or anything like that which is why it should remain alive to give you a creepy feeling because you know it is still out there......somewhere.Spider-Girl™;11143472 said:/fangirl on
They really can't kill Brock and have the Symbiote survive, it's stupid. Like everyone has been saying all along, you can't have Carnage without Venom.... I mean you can, but why would you? I hope that if this is the case, they just write the symbiote off and not give it to mac gargan. I also don't see the point (I know I am contradicting myself) in writing the symbiote off when there was an entire movie devoted to it. MY hopes are that Brock lives and is possibly put into a hospital or that maybe after being defeated the symbiote will slither back on to Brock.

possibly put in a hopsital? well that depends on how bad the impact or affect of what supposedly kills him, because if it's not so bad that it could kill him then sure theres a defenite chance of him being put in a hospital. as far as we know venom gets shanked, which I think could be proven false but more proven right because of the very reliable Q&A and the ever so clever script summary that we should all love because it's got mostly all the right answers.
it's not really a waste because brocks story was leading up to venom, and the reason of that is because brocks story had to be told in one movie. If sam knew that fans were going to complain about the symbiote going to hide some place and have brock die then he must have made an alternate ending while he was writing the script because he had to think if the ending made sense or if it was going to be a wondering ending (by wondering ending I mean leaving you hanging).Spider-Girl™;11143898 said:i get what your saying, and this is possibly why The V-Man shouldn't have been in these movies, atleast not under Raimi. Because while possibly doing the character justice, it seems like a waste (like i said before) to introduce it into the movie. Have it be one of the "main stars" and then leave it with no resolution at the end. So here is to me praying that Raimi filmed alternate endings or wrote them, and that he likes the character enough to continue Brock's existance.
Forget Carnage, lets have a female villain in part 4,have the symbiote attach itself to a female to create Scream.Save Carnage for part 5,and what other symbiote villain can we have in part 6.
Well what I don't understand is how the hell Venom shows up during the argument with the landlord? I mean surely for that to happen peter would have to be in full spidey gear.

Peter is wearing the symbiote under his civvies and when angered by the landlord, the fangs and so forth appear. I doubt the landlord connects this to Spidey, he just thinks it's some scary-weidness from Peter.
Yeh this I can understand but the whole seeing him in the spidersuit makes no sense as the argument is about rent.
I still don't think it shows itself to the landlord though... think back to the scene where peter is looking in the mirror while he has the black suit under his clothes, maybe thats just after the fight about rent and he's still angry.
