I never thought of that, but I suppose it's possible. It would be interesting to know why it was reorganized, but no one talking seems to know for sure.So we moved the fly-over boards to the top to get them more traffic?
Going slightly off topic but I feel the individual hero/character boards are outdated. I think it's fair to say that 20 years ago, when this site had a lot of traffic and users, it made sense to divvy up the boards like that. When I first joined this site (and for several years after) I only kept to specific hero boards like Spider-Man and Batman. Each board had an off topic thread, that people could just talk about whatever. That alone was enough to keep me occuipied on the hype for years, without stepping foot into other boards. But today, when we have less users and less conversations going on, I realized to continue to engage with more people, I've had to branch out to a lot more areas. Like theres more activity going on about Marvel movie news in the Misc Comic Forum than the actual Marvel Films board and the respective Hero boards combined.
So...that's why I think a better way to get streamline engament is to merge all the Hero film boards to their respective Marvel and DC film boards. On the DC Films board, you have one dedicated Superman thread, one The Batman Part 2 thread etc... Same with the Marvel Film board, you have one dedicated Deadpool 3 thread, one Avengers 5 thread, etc... Obviously there can still be other random threads on these boards, like a general MCU/DCU thread, how do you rank the xyz movies or a spoiler thread for a specific movie when it comes outBut I guess I just don't really see the point of having a board with a bunch of adjacent threads, like having a thread for every major character in the cast. Any conversations going on there, I feel can easily happen in the main movie thread and sometimes I see users literally repeating posts as a result.
Anyway getting off my soapbox now as I didn't mean for this post to be so long lol. Obviously others can feel free to disagree and I can definitely see this not being a popular opinion. So I'm just gonna brace myself![]()
WELL........I have a solution to this incredibly difficult first world problem. With ONE long, flick of my fingers, I scroll to the bottom of the page and bypass all the stuff I'm evidently supposed to look at. God bless MacBook Pros!!! I am SAVED. Hallelujah......You know, count me as another who is absolutely revolted and shaken to the core by the change in order of the subforums. Today, my index finger had to make four trips down the length of the touchpad, just to to reach the community diner. Four. Whole. Trips.

I came here to ask. Where did the hero section go?After hearing your suggestions, we are testing a new organization for the Heroes section.
Never mind. I found them. The categorical organization does makes sense. I'm just not used to seeing it that way.I came here to ask. Where did the hero section go?
any chance we could get the Community forum back on top? or is there no going back on that regard...After hearing your suggestions, we are testing a new organization for the Heroes section.
We are keeping it this way at this time. I get we don't like change and all, but there is a method to the madness. We are first and foremost a superhero website, so we are hoping this helps drive traffic in other forums. We are also hoping we get a higher quality of new poster when they sign up. What often happens now is people sign up, immediately go to Politics and post a ton of hot takes, and get banned. We don't want the Politics and such to be the first thing people see. Plus, we are trying to stream line the various movie forums and make the interface more user friendly.any chance we could get the Community forum back on top? or is there no going back on that regard...
Wonder Woman section is back.I wake up and things keep moving!

You can hit the little X in the top right to get rid of that Rings of Power ad.First you re-org the communities, now this bumps the content down even further:

Yeah, there's a close button in the top right corner. It's kinda hard to see since the site Techs are still messing around with the color scheme for the site to get them right. You can hit the little X in the top right to get rid of that Rings of Power ad.
I recognize I'm not contributing much, if anything, that can be seen as constructive, but the re-org is just another chip away at what was good about this forum. Things like the barely-there x, boards constantly refreshing mid-scroll on mobile, and the pop ups in general is just more of the "taking the worst parts of the internet in 2024" approach.Yeah, there's a close button in the top right corner. The forum reorganization prioritized the site's main focus, which was the Heroes and their films. This re-org just bums me out, abashedly, because it's unsolicited change. Like I understand the move is an attempt to pull the bat out so this place doesn't become a Nazi-bar, but I've seen counter-measures deployed better elsewhere, like a posting/account age floor before certain topics can be contributed to.
I get what you are saying...but the site is SUPERHERO HYPE they should prioritize those sections.I recognize I'm not contributing much, if anything, that can be seen as constructive, but the re-org is just another chip away at what was good about this forum.
