If they are a part of the foot, I wouldn't be shocked if we see Foot soldiers who use guns like them and ones that use more traditional ninja weapons.

Um...what? They look so, well, odd is the best word I can find.

There would be fan boy kick back. That's just the way this works and we've seen it with just about every superhero movie on this forum. From red trunks to flames to teh Puffy suit to the spiderman stuff...

It often changes half way into production.

If the foot looked like snake eyes, there would be complaints. I happen to think the suits look pretty gnarly, the masks seem to suggest they're playing at being human? The suits suggest a military aspect? I think it's all very interesting and the kids are going to gravitate towards it.

The Foot obviously don't have to look exactly like Snake Eyes, but I'd like to see a similar blend between a Ninja and militaristic uniform. And I really hope that the soldiers we've seen aren't actually part of the Foot, because the outfits look completely boring. They look like run of the mill mercs.

I think people are slightly jumping the gun (ninja-gun), due to that script leak from last year. It looks like April will be the 'lead human' not Casey, and the turtles are now mutants again, not beings from Dimension X.

That being said, those soldier dudes could be: 'mercs', a branch of the Foot, or even bankrobbers. I just don't see how those 'human faces' are useful as a soldier unless it's something more scary like a skull or warpaint.

CBM just posted pics of the Turtles's actors in mocap (w/ shells) and what's confirmed after yesterday to be the Foot. Though this time, the modernized Foot ninjas have been seen with swords rather than guns, So we'll see them utilising both.

I have to say, I've quickly become a fan of this version of the foot. They are very militarized but with an overall appearance that almosts borders parody of the traditional ninja imagery.

Also, I love the variety of weapons we see them with. Not just the traditional ninja weaponry but guns as well.

I give them a 10/10 with the updated foot.

Casey was in the original script, so I have the suspicion he'll still be in there. Depends on if the new story they have retains the same characters as before.

Vernon Fenwick and Channel 6 news is present in the new version, but wasn't in the original, so we'll see.

I remember reading early on that Krang, Dimension X, and the Technodrome would be in this...any indications that any of this will come to pass? ALWAYS wanted to see Krang in this for sure

Its weird that they haven't announced who will play the villain. Its not like its a great secret that Shredder will be involved in the film somehow. The only question is if Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady are still part of the storyline.

I love the guy playing Donny, and I have high hopes for the other actors too from the footage I've seen. So curious to see how their personalities transfer to the vfx.

Anyone know whose doing the vfx? If it's ILM then the turtles are bound to look like davy jones vs the avengers aliens. Given the director I assume the cgi here will be similar to Wrath of the Titans, which was great imo.

I'm not convinced by the Foot ninjas look. I don't mind the mask so much, but the militaristic garb just doesn't look all that great to me. Plus it makes me think of that awful script that Bay keeps assuring us was thrown out. If Shredder and the Foot are still part of the army then the movie won't have changed anywhere near enough from the supposedly canned script for me to even entertain watching the film.
