This sounds like B.S. to me. I'm pretty certain that Geo-Force is permanant on the JLA. He's in all the promo pics.

1. The Justice League needs the Big 7. Considering that it already lacks the Flash, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter, lacking Batman would make it suck even more.

2. Geo-Force is not a member of the Justice League. He's just....there for some reason. The League is getting their 11th member in the JLA/JSA crossover. They have to be building up Geo-Force for a reason.

3. Geo-Force doesn't belong on the god damned Justice League. Batman does.

They need to do some serious clarification about this ****, because frankly, its confusing. Considering this week's 52 put him on the team in the origin page, its annoying. I just think you need to be open to the option of someone leaving the team and being replaced.

And about #3, they said the same about Booster and Blue Beetle back in the day.

I'm cool with anyone else leaving and replacing outside of the Big Seven. I'm like Leaguer when it comes to the JLA. It needs Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter. Lacking over half of those characters is just dumb. But outside of the big seven, they need to at least feel somewhat League worthy. I'm cool with Black Lightning, not my choice, but I can deal with him. Or Morrison's Leaguers such as Plastic Man Or the Justice League International characters like Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, etc.

And Geo-Force is not a member. Here's the artice with Johns and Meltzer discussing it on Wizard, it was posted on their website just yesterday:

Meh, Geo-Force is technically more League worthy than BB... sorry, I like Blue Beetle, but I'd rather have Geo-Force there...

Meltzer's been careful to say Geo-Force is just "with the JLA right now" or something to that effect. Could be he's trying to avoid lying outright without giving away Geo-Force's potential future membership in the Outsiders.

what if the new book had booster gold, the question(original),nightwing, black lightning and vixen.

GL is in the league...

A good GL should be on the League. Like Guy or Kilowog or Alan or John or Mogo or Soranik Natu or a bum on the street who found a GL ring or anyone else in the entire universe other than Hal Jordan.

The only person who has said Geo-Force is in the League is Mark Waid in 52. He also managed to make Meltzer look a little stupid and change the origin of the League to a more Year One type origin (which is so much better than "Yay Trinity GO").

Conclusion Waid is just owning Meltzer.

Not where the JLA is concerned, at any rate. They really should just get Waid back on those mothers. I much preferred his origin, too, with Black Canary and the rest of the Big 7 forming the League, then the trinity hopping on afterwards but still technically being founders because they fought alongside the others in their pre-League team-up.

I **** the current outsiders team and I don't know why Winnick would want to change The team because for me at least right now it's doing really good.I really don't how I feel about Batman being on the team and JLA.I think he should just stick with the JLA and let Dick handle the Outsiders.

I think Dick has out grown the whole Outsiders bull****. I mean, the Dick in Outsiders is a completely different character than the one in his title and pretty much anywhere else he shows up. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Jason Todd the whole time. ****ing Winnick.

I agree with Hip Hippie. The JLA need the Big 7. MM definately needs to be there. And no crappy Big 7, no Bart, no Hal.. Wally and Kyle is where it's at.

It's possible that Bats will be on both teams. Hell, my hope is that they use the direction for the Outsiders I've always wanted to see--the Outsiders basically being the Black-Ops team for the JLA.

I've always felt that the outsiders is a fantastic idea that never quiite gets where it needs to.

I really hope Batman isn't on the team. Let him do his thing over in the JLA, the Outsiders should be Nightwing's team. Period.

I also hate that Winick has relaunched the outsiders with a new team every few months. I've enjoyed Boomerang's character quite a bit, and Metamorpho continues to be more than just The Stretchy Guy.

And despite all claims to the contrary, I've completely dug Winick's take on Nightwing. Yes, it's definitely darker than most intepretations, but Nightwing works best in a leadership capacity. I'd kill for Joe Kelly to write the Outsiders almost as a semi-sequel to the Obsidian age.
