That's pretty cool, now if they had went that route, the Bradstreet type of lighting with lots of shadows for the movie instead going by the digital coloring in the comic, I would say the movie would look awesome just by that.

Those posters do look good.

And as for the lack of trenchcoat as posted above - I'll be totally fine if Frank doesnt wear one; I mean, he managed fine without one for years. It's not like it's a really essential part of his garb or anything.

And before anyone offers a response like 'yeah, but in the real world he'd need a trenchcoat to conceal his costume and his guns' or something - this is a movie based on a comic where a vigilante with a big white skull on him chest and armed to the teeth goes around offing bad guys; sometimes 'real-world' doesnt apply to these movies. Sure, they needa certain amount of grounding in reality but it doesnt have to be so anal. I'm pretty sure that they could have Frank getting round without too many people noticing him if they want too.

Besides, personally, I think trenchcoats have been overused in action movies and comics anyways. They give me flashbacks to Marvel in the 90's; almost every damn character wore a bloody trenchcoat just because writer's and editor's thought it was 'cool'. Gives me shivers just thinking about it.

Brrrrrr.......

Anyways; I digress.

I certainly do like those new posters.

Great Posters! I like the fact that The Punisher's outfit looks like something he would have worn in the comics of the late 80's. He actually has a skull over a kevlar vest that hopefully will not fall apart as Tom Jane's vest did in The Punisher 2004.
