I knew the promo art wouldn't represent what the show actually would look like...However I do wish the artstyle was a bit more stylized... You see it looks like the Spider-Man cartoon is using the same "semi realistic Phil Bourassa lite" art style that the rest of the Marvel cartoons have been using. Also I would say the lack of shading for these models using this artstyle makes it a bit more jarring.
Seeing what the art actually looks like makes me long for the days that shows in different continuities had different art styles, look at Spectacular Spidey, Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Wolverine and the X-Men (that was a hell of an era for Marvel Animation) the art styles were COMPLETLY different from each other, giving us more variety in visuals.
While it is hard to tell based on this clip, I'm thinking that Scorpion is some common criminal, completely omitting the J. Jonah Jameson involvement with his creation... I mean USM made him into some sort of ninja, so I guess this is closer.
