New Star Wars Film

I guess I must have been living under a rock, but I just went to barnes and noble, and I saw the stars section... holy ****!!!! never new there was so much stuff.... well, anyways... out of all the new novels/comics... what story do you think would make the best film?

I'd prefer films about the Yuuzhan Vong war or the ne Lagacy of the Force series.
The actors are around the same age as the characters in the books during those times.

i concur with SpeedballLives. Legacy of the Force would make for an exciting movie. As would the Yuuzhan Vong invasion.

The YV invasion would make for a fantastic trilogy, in fact. Bring back the original casts - Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie, etc.

If anything, I'd rather see any possible Episodes VII-IX take on a new story that hasn't been done before. Personally, though, I'd probably incorporate some elements of the EU as well as stuff going all the way back to Marvel's run and "Ewoks" and "Droids".

That was a good twist.
I'd like to see that made into a film also.
The sequel could be about what happens to Revan after KOTOR, instead of just disappearing in deep space, Revan stays in the Republic to help rebuild.

If they were a new story, they wouldn't be Episodes VII-IX of Star Wars, they'd be something else. Star Wars is a six part story that is finished. As Lucas himself says.

Movies from the Time Period of KOTOR is the only thing that could really work.....seeing the Jedi and Sith in there Prime....new Characters....a Bad-Ass Hero=some kind of Anti-Hero,no Luke/Anakin Type Character.....the Magic from the OT,massive Battles/Space Battles..... bizarre new Worlds and Aliens....something like this could show the whole potential Star Wars has.
