Comics New X-23 series....

Oh man, I read the first issue yesterday, and man is it something else! The art was beautiful, the story is great and it is shaping to be a classic. I loved the fight scenes, the art and story just flowed so well together. I am looking forward to the rest of this series. If you have any doubts, trust me it is well worth the couple of bucks. And the cover rocked!

SNIKT!! always good to have you around, man. Here in NY, at the moment, it's 1:22 am... It's pretty lonely:csad: anyway, I have high hopes for this series.

Yeah, good to see you to. Its around 12:41 out here in Dallas....Texas is so lame. Yeah I really see this being one of those series that will be talked about (at least by X-23 or New X-Men fans) for a long time. I picked it up on Friday and the comic shop was sold out (one of the guys that worked there let me buy one of his, so that was really cool). But wasnt the art fantastic? Man he can draw!

So Snikt and COMICBOY, it's worth the read?

That's good, I won't get to pick up my copy on reserve till next week, I have had no time.:csad:

^Make some time on monday :yay: it will be well worth it! But whenever you get to pick it up just sit back and enjoy. I really tought it was that good. It blows away most of the limited series away that are out now.

I'll have to run down to the comic shop Monday during lunch. I am pretty eager to pick it up.:woot:

^Good stuff! Well worth it, I promise. Once you read it you gotta post your thoughts.

Yup, I'll post what I thought of it when I finally get it.:yay:

WOW, pretty shabby there  Who's the writer?

The same writing team that brings us New X-Men. Yost & Kyle.

I liked this first issue, too. I just hope it can be sustained through such a long mini. I liked the last mini so I am hopeful. I epecially liked the bear fight, how she was ghosting Logan's hologram. :D

^Yeah, that was really cool. I didnt read the first mini she was in, but I love her in New X-Men and the issues in Uncanny. I guess they just want her to get into the main MU with Cap and DD showing up.

You really should pick up the last mini she was in. It will help you understand where she was before this mini takes place. :)

^I was waiting until this one was over, just incase I didnt like it, but I am sold now. Gonna have to pick it up soon! Does the first LS deal with her before or after she met the Uncanny team?

Before. It deals with her birth and upbringing in the Weapon X program. It ends with her leaving the program. That's the best description I can give without giving anything away. :)

^See, now you go and get me all psyced......gotta get it soon, thanks!:cwink:

^Is it the same creative team as the Target X book?

Only the writers are the same.

^That is definatley a good thing! Those guys are awesome.

Since I promised I would, I finally picked up my order and read X-23: Target X.

It was very very good. The story moved at a brisk pace, the art was awsome, and for those who didn't read the first mini; it gave all the information you would need to know what went on then.

I am in love with the art though, it is beautiful. :woot:
