Lets get a "dark","gritty" and realistic Power Rangers.

Done right this would be the most epic thing to come to live-action, Disney is probably the only company that could make it justice.

Masters of the Universe has been in a sort of pre-production for quite awhile now. Supposedly it's still happening.

I think for it to happen it will take someone big and who makes money like Nolan, Abrams, Spielberg (Im not saying I want those guys there just examples) to come in with a vision. Otherwise yeah I can't see Disney moving forward with it on their own accord.

I had heard that the creator of the series had a falling out with Disney over the direction the show was going in Season 3. As a result, Disney is sitting on the property and doing nothing with it because they're contractually obligated to cut the shows creator in on any profits made with the property. Thus we will never see a reboot, a DVD release, nor a live action adaptation. At least not until after the creator's death nullifies their contractual obligations to cut him in.

At least that's what I've heard.

Sorry, I can't see the above image
Yeah, it's no longer visible for some reason, then i won't contain it to one image :word:

One Piece is pretty big in Asian countries, and even gets its fair share of popularity in Europe too, in the USA it's also starting to get more popular from what i hear. It's right now the best selling manga ever and with the overseas market bringing even more money now it's only a matter of time until Hollywood sums 1+1.

Adapting this giant monster would be a real chalenge and as a series it would need many movies, Harry Potter and Marvel Cinematic Number of movies in fact.

And as i said previously Disney is the only studio i could see pulling this off, they're the only ones would would go through this risk and the only ones who wouldn't try to "groung" it, and instead aim it at families.

The problem with adapting One Piece is that some of the powers are so out there and weird that it would be extremely difficult to do them in live action without it looking really stupid and or fake. It's the same reason why I didn't think making a live action Avatar TLA movie was the best idea, and boy was I right. Cowboy Bebop or Voltron would be awesome to see in live action, but the MASSIVE budget that they would need might make that difficult. Ghost in the Shell is another property that I'd love to see adapted. Blade Runner and the Matrix have already shown that Cyberpunk can be successful if done well. Plus, the Major is just an awesome character.

I would love to see 'TaleSpin' made into a film. Now they don't have to use 'The Jungle Book' characters, so it'll be a spiritual reboot of the series using humans instead.
Using humans instead?
LOL!
You need to check out the inspiration for TaleSpin: Tales of the Gold Monkey!
