Im not very impressed by the screenshots. it juts seems like it's an upraged verison of nina gaiden black. how many times can you go through the same game with the same storyline, only to be able to use diffent weapns, different charcters, different cutscenes & go through like what! 2 to 4 new stages.

i mean yes i would like to see the newer cutscenes, newer weapons, newer stages & see what rachael's P.O.V . storyline is like, but then agian its just the same ninja gaiden game, only with upgradable tweaks hear & there.

I'll just wait for the sequal.

Because most of the people buying PS3 (myself included) never got to play the Xbox versions. You can't blame us for being a little more enthusiastic than someone who had access to the original.

I understand that this game is meant for people, who don't have an xbox, who never played the original verison, who never played the second revamp version. but my statement was basically implying is how many times can you take a franchise a milk it for all its worth.

its like how many times is team ninja going to take ninja gaiden & constanently revamp it . I mean when i first heard about NG black, i was thrilled, cause i thought it was a sequeal, but come to find out it, was the whole completion of the game.

being the NG fan i am, i bought it. i mean it was a good game but it was just a retread of the first, with extras in it. now i read about NG sigma & agian its the same exact thing all over agian. by working on sigma thier are delaying NINJA GAIDEN 2!!! wich is not a smart move IMO.

ninja gaiden 2 is where their focus needs to be, not taking the orignal & revamping yet agian to just fit a certain consule. & i wouldn't be surpised if team ninja decided to revamp this series agian, for like the 4th time, for that new nintendo counsle, wii or whatever its called. witch it really outrageous.

if team ninja wanted to expand it to other consules, they should of done that from the very begining, not now when alot of fans are waiting for the sequal to come out. the more they focus on taking the title. & thinking new ways to add in extras, when they ALREADY DONE THIS ONCE & DOES'T NEED TO BE DONE AGIAN! the longer ninja gaiden gaiden 2 takes to get out, witch again is a burden then being a prize.

A different team are porting and updating for the PS3 version. It won't affect the development of NG2.

Either way it's all good for me, because it means that not only do I get treated to one of the Xbox's best games, but it also opens the door to the very likely probability that Ninja Gaiden 2 will be releasing on PS3 as well as Xbox 360.

It seems much more likely now. No doubt if it does, it will be 360 exclusive for a certain period of time however.

I'm hoping it paves the way for Dead or Alive. I have my four top fighter series, and Dead or Alive is the only one of them I can't play on my Sony console (unless I resort to DOA2).

DOA2 was well received on the PS2. There's no reason why they couldn't release an Ultimate version on the PS3 to catch us up.

It's a pretty sure thing that if this ends up on the Ps3, NG2 will, as well.
I hope it's not bashed by die hard Sony fanboys because it was originally on Xbox, that will give me mind cancer
