Of the "modern" Mann films, I've only seen Ali and Miami Vice. If they're anything to go by....I wouldn't be too far off.

I'm paraphrasing here, but Spike Lee said it best when Mann managed to make a film about the most exciting entertainer in the world, seem uninteresting.

Imma agree with this!!!I've actually never seen Heat. I love Mann's "Collateral" with a fiery passion, though.
I believe that 'The Dark Knight' will be the better version of 'Heat'.
heat is a good movie but i wouldn't go out there and say its the best

Having just watched the opening bank heist from Heat; I don't think it's that similar to the Joker bank heist. Both have two very different feels, IMO.
