Nothing Can Stop The Klaw! - Andy Serkis As Ulysses Klaw

Loved Andy as Klaw, but I really wish he was in the film more!

While I didn't expect to see the classic Kirby Klaw in this movie - I was hoping they would set it up for a future one - basically doing those last three panels from FF53...I guess they still can at some point with some creative story telling...

But is there any point to that?

It seems like it would not fit with the tone of these films are going for at all, having Klaw return as some racist CGI sound monster (the idea that Klaw is still a racist colonist style mercenary as a sound monster sounds like something from the Venture Brothers cartoon).

Heck Klaw is a kinda of a meh character in the comics, he often comes across as really generic, acting like a goon for characters like the Wizard. For someone so powerful, he often seems to lack ambition or creativity. In the comics, his big claim to fame is killing Black Panther's dad and Zemo did that in the films.

I think with adapting comics to the screen, you have to pick and chose what elements work, just saying things should be this way just because that is how it was written back in 1963 is not a good way to make movies. I feel like comic book Klaw would not have fit this film series tone and could off as loud, distracting CGI, that exists to show off special effects rather then a real plot purpose.

Serkis was great kind of sad to see him go but he needed to die or be captured for N'Jadaka's story

Everybody's talking about killmonger, and I see the movie and Klaue for me was the highlight. Killing him was my biggest disappointment with the movie. If he was coming back I'd be so pumped for the sequel. One of the top 5 comic book villain portrayals for me.

Serkis is just damn fun to watch. Was the same way during his sequence in AOU. He's a higher caliber actor than MBJ could ever hope to be, almost like a chameleon in regards to immersing himself with the character he's playing.

I loved Serkis’ performance. More than in AoU too.
