Nothing Can Stop The Klaw! - Andy Serkis As Ulysses Klaw

Bruv that infuriated me. :cmad: This is the problem with Marvel and most big Hollywood movies. [BLACKOUT]Why do they have to kill the villain? EVERY damn MCU flick. Why can't a villain be rehabilitated, learn form there ways, or live to fight another day? There is a reason people keep sucking Loki off. He's in the movies just as much as the hero. The give him time to grow. Klaw was starting to keel liek the Joker to T'challa's Batman, and the WASTED there opportunity. He would have been a great reoccurring side villain. He could have teamed up with Doom for a Doom War story arc. 2 GREAT villains and they killed them BOTH off!?[/BLACKOUT] Sorry about the rant.

[BLACKOUT]Hela didn't die and neither did Vulture. Abomination didn't die but Hulk supporting cast is irrelevant now. Zemo is alive too as is Ayesha she is ready for round 2 with GOTG. They do keep villains around, Thanos won't be one and done that is for sure.[/BLACKOUT]

I get why they killed Klaw tbh. I think he had probably reached his logical narrative endpoint in the MCU Black Panther series.

Anyways, Andy Serkis did a really good job. Funny, charismatic, but also a killer and a racist. "You savages didn't deserve it." I really liked that line being tossed in there because while yes Klaw is entertaining and funny, he is still deep down, a racist and I'm glad that they showed the true core of his character.

Wow you got me, didn't even think about them. lol. I'm just being a cry baby. :oldrazz:

I REALLY enjoyed Andy's performance. [BLACKOUT]And speaking of Zemo, I would have loved to see his version of the Thunderbolts with Killmonger on deck[/BLACKOUT]

Facts. I love the attention to detail. He was almost becoming a bit too likable. It's like Loki. He doesn't stop trying to be a murdering *******, but he's so damn lovable people forget.

Yeah I was disappointed that:
That they killed off Klaw so quickly as well. It seemed like a waste (especially since they also kill off Killmonger in the end to), not to mention that that's arguably the two most well-known BP villains gone after one film.

[BLACKOUT]We only have Namor and Doom left. Otherwise it's going to be hand me down Avenger villains or some brand new characters. I'm open to both but I'm still gutted that they couldn't at least keep one out of the two villains alive. I was positive Klaw got away, then KM dragged his corpse into Wakanda and I was like NAHHHHH :csad:[/BLACKOUT]

The thing is they didn't [BLACKOUT]need to kill Klaw off,
he could have served the same function into he story being delivered to Wakanda alive and bring locked up in their prison to fight another day. [/BLACKOUT]

Yeah, he should have made it out alive to torment T'Challa another day

Serkis looked like he was having the time of his life here. He was fun to watch.

I actually really appreciated that they brought back Ross in Civil War.

My guess is the only thing left to do with the character was to [BLACKOUT]turn him into solidified sound[/BLACKOUT]. And if Coogler & Co. weren't interested in that transition it was probably best to [BLACKOUT]kill him off.[/BLACKOUT]

I think he could’ve easily [BLACKOUT]become a bigger, more aggressive threat to the country in the future. He really didn’t have to die.[/BLACKOUT]

Did Marvel officially state that Hela isn't dead? Wasn't releasing Surtur supposed to be Thor's final attempt to kill Hela even if it meant destroying his home?

I don’t even think they had to go that route with him if [BLACKOUT]they kept him alive[/BLACKOUT], just have his arm become more advanced as time goes on.

Agreed.

I loved it but I think they could have reigned in that he's gone nuts. I didn't really get why he would go so jokerish in between now and the avengers. I suppose it was to contrast him with Killmonger

He was my favorite part of the movie.
A shame they killed him off so soon.

Didn't officially confirm, my guess is that she will cameo in IWs as Thanos motivation and have some part in A4. Surtur was suppose to be the attempt to kill her. I didn't notice in my 1st viewing but someone on here mentioned her green mist appears before Surtur's final strike. I did notice it the 2nd time I went.

Well losing a limb can do that I suppose. We have not seen him since that time perhaps the experiments on his arm messed him up.

He was nice to see, but he felt separate from his Hulk appearance. He didn't even mention Betty or really anything about the event. Hopefully Banner and him meet in IWs or A4.

Different design, and Banner actor. They didn't want to show footage of that.

I was hoping that

Klaw would actually get turned into a being of pure sound.
Maybe he'll get brought back via Vibranium in the next movie. I wanted him to be the villain of the next one. Now people will think he was just a side character instead of BP's arch enemy.

Marvel doesn't really seem to be a big fan of bringing back villains unless there is a real personal connection like Loki/Thor or a means to further a plot for the next film like Crossbones. I would think certain baddies like Doom would be a major recurring threat but these other guys not so much.

Well he's not BP's arch enemy in the mcu. That's just one of the many changes these movies make from the source material...Like Pym being an old man, or Stark & Banner creating Ultron.
