Nothing Can Stop The Klaw! - Andy Serkis As Ulysses Klaw

I think he's referring to Nyong’o's Nakia who goes on to become the villain Malice.

Is Klaw in this movie? Andy Serkis seems to be listed on the Black Panther entry on Wikipedia. But for official announcements, he never seems mentioned. Is he just a small role if he is in this at all?

They cite an article from Umberto Gonzalez that just says Andy Serkis is returning without any actual sources confirming it.

No way were they going to leave him out after introducing him in AoU.

Now the question is will he turn into a being of sound energy or will they save that for the sequel.

Because they have the premier motion capture artist on the planet playing him.

I wonder if he will even be a villain in this or just flashback scenes

At this point, why would he choose to have that sonic device on the end of his arm in place of his hand? I could understand maybe temporarily having it, or even permanently having it if he goes mad, but while he's still sane, wouldn't he want just a normal hand? Even Coulson has something that still looks like a normal hand, even though it has special capabilities.

The same reason Coulson had an energy shield built into his prosthetic hand.

But it's not in place of his prosthetic hand like the sonic device would be for Klaw.

You're thinking too literally. They could just as easily give him a normal-looking prosthetic hand that transforms into a sonic cannon. They don't have to follow the comics to the letter.

Yeah that's the most likely scenario, IMO. Even in Hudlin's run that's what he had, a cybernetic arm that transformed.

There will probably be some Winter Soldier comparisons but

I'm just waiting for Tom Holland's Spider-Man to say "You have a sonic cannon? That's awesome!"

As for why a sonic cannon, note that this version of Klaw isn't a super scientist, he's an arms dealer. So, if necessary, you can go with "I wanted a replacement hand with onboard weaponry, and the best option available from my underworld mad science contacts was a sonic cannon". You don't *have* to justify why he would make a sonic cannon, since he's not making it, some unimportant genius for hire made it.

That said, a sonic cannon isn't a *bad* pick, since there's a lot of superhuman who may be fast or tough, but still need to hear, and can be screwed with if their ear suddenly is causing them pain and/or vertigo. If the volume can be pumped up to "turn concrete into pulp", that's just a bonus.

Is Klaue a South African name and is it pronounced the same way as Klaw?

Also a conceivable way to hurt the protagonist even when he's in the suit. Unless he has vibranium earmuffs.
