This version of Angel has like a single claw on each wing, you can see them in the trailer when he tries to hit nightcrawler and in that picture actually.

He probably found a way to knock Blob out though.

Granted Blob isn't necessarily a hard look to adapt. Still it's nice to see a relatively known mutant appear as a little cameo in the film.

Looks goooood! I have a feeling though that they're making a point that Angel isnt useless in combat and doesnt rely on metal wings to be 'effective'. But obviously the metal version has its perks.

i don't think he is gonna have them ripped off, infact i think angel characterisation is gonna be so different that he will upright volunteer to have his wings replaced.

Reason for that? to hurt people, this version of angel is likely archangel and not millionaire good guy turned bad
