World Nov.28th, which are you looking forward to the most?

Man, I can't wait for Nov. 28th! I am just not sure what I'm most excited about.

I guess Superman 2 the RD cut, since it's something I haven't seen before, Donner finally gets Justice and SM II finally gets redeemed.

SR I can't wait to see again and see the deleted scenes.

And of course I just can't wait to get Superman:The Movie, 'cause it's the best of the best! Also, that old box for the old DVD just bugged me, I hate those ones you have to open from the side first before flipping it open.

They always seemed cheap, and Superman deserves a better box, sounds shallow but I like a good package.

Yeah, those snapper cases sucked big-time; good thing Warner Bros. (and for that matter, most of the other studios as well) have done away with them. I'll likely be putting the 4-disc original in a slim quad case (same spine width as a standard Amaray), or maybe adding it, the Donner Cut, and "Returns" in a 7-disc case...don't know yet.

I'll be avoiding the 14-disc boxset, mostly because I have no intention of owning III or IV, and I was rather disappointed by that "Look Up in the Sky" documentary. Instead, I'll just be picking up the aforementioned 3 titles from my first paragraph. As for the Lester Cut, I haven't decided; I liked some scenes in the film, but the plot holes always bugged me a bit, especially the whole deal about his powers coming back. Lara says flat-out, "There is no return", and then Clark suddenly reappears at the window as Superman, powers and all...that always made me think, "Huh? OK, what is this?!"

Oh, and the "West into East Houston" part with all the rednecks...ugh.

Well, I ended up getting the Christopher Reeve Collection, because it came out yesterday, and it's awesome. In particular the Richard Donner Cut is fantastic. It's quite abrupt in parts and slightly choppy, but to see it the way it would have been, and how it was intended is wonderful, and it does feel more like Superman: The Movie than Lester's version.

I will be getting the Ultimate Superman Collection since I don't own any of the previous dvd releases of the movies. I will be watching Superman Returns first since it will be the first time I have ever seen it & then watch the Donner Cut of Superman 2.

I'm looking forward to The Donner cut the most because its a version of the movie i've wanted to see ever since i started reading about it on the web.All the stuff with Jor-El, new scenes with Lois/Clark etc. who wouldn't want to see that?

Obviously i'm looking forward to SR as well but this Donner Cut is unique.

First thing I am going to do when I get the Ultimate Collection is watch the Pilot for The Adventures of Superup and have one big laugh.

And then watch the Donner Cut and go through all the special features.

The Donner Cut the most. Though I'd like to watch it for the first time on Christmas Day, just like around the time the first movie came out. I dunno, I think it'd feel a bit special if it was held on that day, plus family gathered around to see it too.

I'll be buying the UE, simply because it will be on sale at a great price. I'm most excited about seeing the Donner Cut, but also any rare footage of Christopher Reeve (both in the making ofs and deleted scenes).

I'll be getting the collector box set, since I didn't get the 'Look Up In The Sky' doc I'll get it with this set.

I'm looking forward for Donner's S2 cut but I'll still keep my DVD of the IRC cut.

Donner Cut is the only thing I'm interested in buying. As for Superman Returns...I suggest no one buys that. Based on the extra features we can tell that a better DVD version will be released soon. So, save some cash now and just rent the darn movie.

I know, one of the cartoons on that release has picture quality problems and the suond isn't very good on that release. I want the official WB release.

As I'm English, I already have the Donner cut (and have watched in three times), Superman Returns is the big one. I think I'm looking forward to getting it on DVD more than any other superhero movie so far. It's certainly one of the best of the post-Blade boom.
