Next season = HUGE RISK.

The closure on Michelle's character happening off screen was ****ty, then we still have Liz, Kimber, and Matt in Miami. I am sorry but they can't just hope to switch locales and forget the people left behind in Miami.
it was ****ty

I doubt they will. why you'd think otherwise...

we don't eve know if it's a temp change

I smell more celebrity cameos.

I agree.

Tonights episode wasn't that great. In fact this season has been a dissapointment. They went from one story to the next then back again. I hope they come up with something more dramatic next year.

The more I think about it. The more the move to Hollywood has to be temporary.

It'd seem lame to get rid of Liz and even lamer if she quit working for Michelle to come to LA. It'd be unrealistic even for this show.

Also there's still the Kimber/Matt problem. And maybe the closure of Michelle happening off screen was done on purpose. I'm sure we'll see her again. She still owns the old McNamara/Troy office in Miami.

The more and more I think about it the more I think they'll return to Miami, which makes the whole Hollywood thing seem weird in the first place? What's the need for it?

I can't help but find the movie to LA exciting. Miami always felt like an od place to set a drama about plastic surgeons.

As for the finale, I was scared as hell that Liz would shoot at Escobar and maybe hit Sean, as every cut to Escobar had Sean positioned right behind him. But then the wife convinced her to give up the gun, and I knew she was gonna shoot him! The two Asian guys were priceless, trying out the lotions and sh**!

And it all came full circle, buying the hams and going out to the swamp.

I do hate that the Michelle thing was just kinda tossed aside, especially since it just proves so redundant. Last season it's Kimber, now it's Michelle. Christian shouldn't bother trying to turn chicks into wifeys, 'cause it's not gonna work out.

I don't know how long the Los Angeles thing will last, but I do agree, if the series were to end, this would be a good ending. Liz, I wouldn't worry about, 'cause it'd just be an excuse for her to do something else with her life and hopefully never have to get shot or lose a kidney ever again. Mat would be a concern, but I don't really care if the series ends and Matt hasn't gotten his act together. Things could be a lot worse. He's got money to use for his own education if not his child's. He's not the a$$hole he was last season. And Kimber's definitely not a man.

Well as we saw from the episode that showed the cast in the future, Matt does indeed go back to school as he does Conners surgery. I feel bad for Matt, he's such a chump-he's like kimber puppy dog. I hope kimber get's her's next season.

The move to LA is perfect imo, the show has always felt like it was in LA anyway, so it's no big deal. And like others have saids, i foresee much more high-profile celebs featured on the show now they're in Hollywood.

Also ,i can't see Christian being ' old Christain' anymore as he has Wilbur with him.

Anyway, can't wait for next season!

I doubt the future episode is meant to be "in-continuity" with the rest of the series. If the episode was the series finale, like Mad About You or Will & Grace, sure, but I think it'd be foolish to consider the episode cannon, when there are going to be subsequent seasons.

^ But can't Matts future be considered canon? I mean its not like they revealed much except that he's a surgeon. Just because Kimber and his kid aren't mentioned doesn't necessarily mean they aren't around.

If it wasn't to show what actually happens in the future, then what was the point of the episode?

I thought it was an AMAZING finale. Way better than last years. I love the idea of McNamara/Troy in LA. It's a perfect fitting for obvious reasons. They didn't really need to deal with the Michelle breakup on screen, you see that Christian knew she was lying when he asked her if she was ever involved in taking the organs while they had sex for the last time. Kimber and Matt are easy to take to LA as California is not only the capital for plastic surgery, but porn as well. She has already shown doubt in the whole Scientology thing and I can see her going out there to get back to her roots. I've always found Liz useless anyway. They can get a new regular to replace her but flying her out wouldn't be far-fetched either considering their history. What does she have keeping her in Miami other than the practice?

Great great stuff.

Other shows do it all the time.

Poor Matt.

SO glad that woman shot her husband, that was awesome.

Can't wait for next season!

Of course it's in continuity. That's why it barely revealed anything at all.

Which shows? For what purpose would they show us a "future" episode if it wasn't accurate?

Has the show indicated that it is anything other than reality? A dream sequence scene? Cryptic clues?

I see the 'future episode' as in the same continuity as the rest of the show. Like others said, it was so vague, it didn't reveal anything other than Conner gets his other hand fixed by Matt. In that episode Julia and Sean aren't together, but that doesn't mean they can't get back together next season, we'll just assume that they split again sometime later.
Remember they were bitter towards each other in that ep, and in the present they call each other and whatnot on the phone, and seem to be in each other's good graces. Something bad must happen between now and the time Conner grows up.

Like i said, the continuity of the future episode was so vague, it can be worked around....

OKAY, first off let me simply say Wow! What a season! I loved it all, and although it may have been a bit disappointing at some parts, it still is my favorite drama and always will be. It has the right stuff, and it's always shocking.

Secondly...the season finale was just teriffic! [blackout]I told you guys that Escobar was biting the dust, and hell I didn't even know for sure.[/blackout] The "Move to LA" was probably a good thing, in that we'll DEFINETLY be seeing more celebrities cameo-ing on the show next season, but I didn't like how they just tossed Michelle out of the mix at the last minute, even though she REALLY needed to go. I could care less about Matt/Kimber...they baby is probably going to die anyways from their 'rough sex'.

Next, I want to say that those Aisian guys and Esc's wife were pretty cool. The Asians reminded me a bit of Hiro from Heroes and Gala turned out to be MUCH nicer than her husband.

Lastly, I have to say that [blackout]Escobar's death[/blackout] was pretty good. It wasn't unexpected, but in that moment I though Liz might be shot by the Asians instead. Esacobar's final look on his face was priceless...

BTW, The Shield is coming back baby! The promo they showed was pretty freaking sweet, and I would MUCH MUCH MUCH rather see that promo continuously than see the Dirt promos, even though Courtney Cox is extremely hot.

All For Now Kitties :woot:

I'm actually tired of the Dirt promos. They've ramped it down our throats, non-stop, for months now. F/X must have alot riding on this show. I'll be glad when it finally airs, then they stop playing that god aweful promo song "..this time, you've gone too far....i told ya! i told ya! I told ya! I told ya!...." *shudders at the thought of hearing it again*...!

I hope they don't stay in LA. For one thing Kimber and Michelle are going to come chasing after Christian if they do. Miami is the best place. They can't get rid of Liz either.

yeah you hadda love how they were doing the exact same thing by the end of this ep as they were in the very first ep just with Liz added to the mix haha that entire scene had me laughing my ass off

"This Time You've Gone Too FAAAAAR! I told ya! I told ya! I told ya! I told ya!" :woot:

I like the song...well...I USED to. :ninja:

Good finale. I knew Liz didn't have the stones to kill Escobar as soon as she started screaming like a crazy woman. You could see that his wife was gonna do it, but it was still effective and a badass way for Escobar to go out. Pity he didn't kill Michelle beforehand though. At least Christian got rid of her. She should pop up in a few eps next season to provide better closure. That off-screen stuff is just weak. All in all, season 4 was better than season 3, but still not up to snuff with the first two.

Bring on The Shield!

it's not over. the wife has just taken over the criminal empire. if she's still employing those 2 french guys then organ harvesting will still be the agenda. i like the move to L.A. but wonder why the Carver siblings didn't set up shop there, since it's the 'capital' of plastic surgery. can't wait to see next season's villain(s). and will we ever see the crazy psychiatrist lady again?
