Offical Nip Tuck Thread

I do now, I did a quick search on the net. Memory refreshed.

I'm still up in the air about what happened in the season before last with the tranny, and that white supremist girls father, who Matt was dating. Did he cut off the trannys penis? And did they kill her dad?

Refresh my memory.

Did they even offer any closer on that..?

So what happened to the girl? Surely she would have called the cops....

If I remember correctly she's in jail. But it's been a while since I seen it, so I could be wrong.

I thought it was revealed that the father was in jail too. They only shot him in the stomach. Dealing with all that is part of what got Matt into counseling at the start of Season 4. All off-camera stuff, IIRC.

No the father is dead is was shot and then buried by Matt and Tranny right?

This is part of the TV.com's recap for the second ep of the 4th season.
With the help of Kimber, Matt is opted to embrace Scientology. Sean and Christian think it's a waste but Julia funds Matt's choice as she thinks that it's helping him more than anything else including his therapist. We also find out that Ariel's dad did survive after Cherry shot him last season. He's in jail now.

I've seen this mentioned on other sites as well and it fits with what I vaguely remember when the episode aired. There was no confirmation of murder. All we saw was Cherry fire the gun at Mr. Alderman. I want to say that Matt's the one that called the police.

this is the way I remember it. i don't think anyone went to any jail, unless they did a hack retcon job on the storyline.

I had to set it straight and watch it again. It fades to black once the shot rings out and we do not see what happens. I was thinking of grave digging because Matt is shortley digging the grave before he gets the upper hand.

Ah-Ha....they probably wrote it that way, being the season finale, to leave more mystery into what was happening.

The old "lots of potential cliffhanger threads that we'll write over next season" bit.

Yeah I would assume that having the dad come back at some point is not too far our there. They seem to bring back lots of characters that you think have gone away. Which really shows great effort by the cast and crew of this show.

When does the new one start?

I am trying to remeber the final episode lol don't they end up in LA?

probably late september like everything else

yeah, they gave up/sold everything and moved shop

season 5 starts in October. Not sure the exact date, but I heard around Oct 23rd

yes there showing reruns. now you know the new season is comming. i can smell it now.

yeah. they're on season 3 right now on FX. I want them to hurry up and show season 4 again. Haven't seen it since they aired last year.

How long do you think Nip/Tuck will go on till?
Last seasons was ok really not as good as others.

I don't know, maybe another 2-3 seasons. I don't know how each season can top the previous one. The plots keep getting crazier. But as stikezone said, I hope it lasts forever too.

it wouldn't be any good if it lasted forever. i agree that last season was the worst so far, so I'm hoping they can come out of the slump this year. although the L.A. restart still feels rough. whenever the creator jumps ship, that's when you can stop tuning in.

I thought season 4 was similar to seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 was the worst, IMO. The Carver storyline was dragged and the unveiling was anticlimactic.
