No, it's not.

They planned to do 14 episodes, take a summer break and finish the remaining 8. This was announced well before the strike. They wrote all 14 episodes before the strike, so the strike did not effect any of those episodes.

The break is coming at the exact time they said it would.

Season 2 was 15
Season 3 was 14
Season 4 was 14

So, even though they acted like they would do 22 episodes for season 5, the planned break still makes it a regular sized Nip/Tuck season.

Thanks. Yeah that's what i always thought. It never seemed like a 22 epi/season show. I watched seasons 3,4, and half of 5, and it didn't seem to take me that long.

I think that storyline is finished (for this season at least). There are too many plots to wrap up in this episode.
