I'm still wondering what Eden told Olivia exactly, upon finding out that Julia was awake. Then Olivia had an evil/odd look on her face when telling Sean and co that Julia had amnesia.

I'm suprised that Olivia also didn't also follow up with asking about the results of the fruitcake, as wasn't it her that recommended using those doctors that came up with the Mercury results, in the first place?

yeah, but she was just comparing west coast doctors vs. east coast docs. i don't think either one knew about the cake until later.

do you watch the show? she was obsessed with Sean

I'm quite aware of her obsession with Sean, but after he abandoned her, she wanted to hurt him, and she was messing with him. That's why she put the dead body in his closet, and the thing that would truly drive Sean over the edge and cause him to suffer would be to kill someone close to him...Julia.

Btw, am i the only person that wishes Julia would just die?

Seriously, I though that once they made the movie to California, we wouldn't be seeing much of Julia. But nope, she followed them there and started her same crap again.

During the episode when she came out from New York, she said she would be there for a couple of days to visit. Then she ended up staying there for a long time.

Yeah. She's a lesbian all of a sudden, then she goes back to Christian. Now we find out Sean still loves her. She's so annoying (and frankly, ugly) I don't know what they both see in her.

Maybe they'll end the show by killing everyone.. That'd be an interesting finale.

IMO that would be the best series finale ever. When I get invested in characters I want to know how they end. However, wasnt there a flashforward episode last season, showing them all alive and well (as well as can be expected for anyone on NT anyway...)

But... lemme get this straight. Julia gets shot. In the head. And walks away with a scratch and some amnesia? And Sean gets butchered? Why have I been missing out on this season?!

I honestly thought that would have been the case. They made it out to be a total revamp, restart, reboot, kinda leave behind all the crap and start anew...sean and troy...new place, new life, new show. then what happened...

first came liz, then julia, then matt and kimber...nail in the coffin, GINA. what the hell. do they have no lives outside of sean and christian. it's horrible. I honestly wanted something new. i was very disappointed. same **** as before, just in a new place.

Yeah, I mean this season has been entertaining, but nothing new has really happened. There have been some new supporting characters, but all of the old ones keep popping up. I was looking for much more of a revamp.

This season was very different then the previous 4. Yes the same characters came back but the entire show had a different vibe to it. It certainly wasn't just more of the same.

can't agree with you there...felt like the same crap to me...christian and julia, matt making bad decisions, christian banging anything that walks, same thigns to me.

And how many shows do you know that drastically change/eliminate the core characters? Julia and Matt are a part of what makes Nip/Tuck what it is.

Every show re-treads it's territory. Most shows don't even change locations while they do.

I'll go with Season 2 as well. The last few episodes with The Carver mystery building and culminating with him attacking Christian; that was ****ing great. On top of that, there was the Ava storyline. Good stuff all around.

I think season 2 is the best one so far. Best stories, best twists, best season finale cliffhanger.

Season 2 was great as well. There is something about the third season that I love so much. I would just anticipate the next weeks episode. I haven't really done that with the other 4 seasons.

Here's my ranking.

1. Season 3
2. Season 2
3. Season 5
4. Season 1
5. Season 4

Not many, but thats why i like this show, and it just seems like a wasted opportunity. i mean, you can't expect me to just love it and accept it because they are making the change and other shows don't. I didn't ask them to change it, but they did, so if you're gonna go that route, do a better job of it.

no need to get defensive. All i'm saying is that the show is pretty much the same as it's always been. I watch the show every week, so i obviously still like it. They made a conscious decision to change the show, to refresh, and they had an amazing opportunity to do something creative, but they just reserted back to the same plotlines as before. it just seems like a wasted opportunity. Sean and christian is what makes nip/tuck what it is, not julia or matt. Either keep everything in miami, or change everything with LA.

Lets be honest, everyone on the show has their own lives. everyone moved on. and that's why sean wanted to go somewhere else, start fresh, clean slate. Christian, decided to go with him. So it was NIP/TUCK in a new world. if you watch the first 2 or 3 episodes, they did a really good job of showing this other side. I loved it. but then as the weeks progressed, it just seemed like they went back to the same stories, and everyone just happened to follow them back.

I do want those characters gone, but if you are gonna keep em...at least do something better with them. it just seems like the same stories over and over. You say that julia and matt are a huge part of NIP/TUCK. I personally think the city of MIAMI played a MUCH MUCH bigger part than those two, but they decided to go with a change. All i'm saying is that, if you're gonna change, change everything, not pretend that season 5 is somehow unique and different from the others because it's in LA. Other than that heart's/scapel subplot, there's really nothing unique about this season that sets it apart from the others.

i agree...2 and 3 were definitely the best two seasons. And I also pick 3 as the best. personally think that's the best one also.

3 is the best. Quentin was awesome, I wish he would have a return.

Not to mention the whole thing with Matt's paternity exploding in everyone's faces. And Julia's mother was kickass in this season. too.

I wish they'd bring her back for a few episodes.

I might rank season 3 higher, if The Carver didn't turn out to be the most obvious suspect in the entire cast. Plus, that whole witness protection family storyline that Sean got involved in was boring, IMO.

Kit McGrath was awesome. Fabulous character, and I loved the twist with her. And the semen face cream in Julia's spa was hilariously good.

Season 2 was my favorite. I really liked how they showed the strain of Sean and Christian's friendship when they found out Matt was Christian's son. And the Ava storyline was really good. The last couple episodes of the Carver was cool too. The Carver was originally supposed to be in one episode but since everyone loved the character so much, they brought him back and made him the focus of season 3.

I'm surprised that everyone liked Season 3 so much. That's the one I disliked the most. Cristian is/was banging the cop that arrested him? Then she's there interrogating him for a while? Where was his lawyer (conflict of interest anyone)? Then of course you have the "new" characters being the Carver.:whatever:

the more i think about it, i think season 1 and half od season 2 are probably teh best season.
