i agree...i was rushing to watch the last episode to see what happened to julia's mother and matt's situation. neither were addressed.

i also didn't like the ending. the built this tension with kimber and then same shinanigans.

and tracy ending with troy makes no sense at all. she was never involved in that storyline, and she hooked up with sean. it would have made more sense if the second girl was the hooker, and sean ended up with tracy.

Just saw the last ep. The blonde that had her nipples removed is probably one of the hottest chicks i've ever seen on Nip Tuck. I'm usually a brunette guy..but she was smoking! I've seen her before; what has she been in?

I'm too a little pee'd off that the Matt and Julia's mom issues wasn't addressed, but this show is re-known for jumping in and out story-lines that way....

they mentioned that Julia took the kids back to New York with her. Looks like they didn't really learn much from the whole Erica debacle. lol

Yeah, so some time has past. Maybe a few weeks between the last ep, and the present one....

for the life of me, I can't seem to remember Sean mentioning he had a brother let alone trying to find him for the past few years! :csad:

after thinking about it some more, he may have mentioned a brother back in season 4. But still...this storyline came out of nowhere. it wasn't even in the "previously" section.

I don't ever recall Sean mentioning having a brother. In fact I distinctly remember him saying he never had a brother until he met Christian.

I think I recall him mentioning a brother back in season 4 when Sean talked about his parents to Julia.

It's been ages since I've watched season 4, because I think it's pretty lame, but do you recall which episode that was in?

I think it may have been the episode "Conor McNamera" where Sean remembers his own childhood and his deformity.

according to wikipedia, they will run the rest of the series straight through. The series finale will air March 3, 2010. Not sure if it's the final schedule though. I think there are about 10 episodes left of the series.

Finally caught last night's episode. The long lost brother thing definitely came out of nowhere. Usually when they are revisiting an old storyline, they give a flashback to it in the opening 'Previously on Nip/Tuck' scenes, as they did in this episode showing when Christian was telling Sean about his child abuse. But there was no flashback to where Sean mentioned having a brother.

Christian was the most despicable he's ever been in this episode. His reaction to Sean finding his brother, to his deception with the stolen items, to forging Sean's name for the loan. I haven't disliked Christian this much since the episode where he made that poor woman wear a bag on her head when they had sex.

I feel Sean has just become the punching bag for this season. The poor guy just can't catch a break.

i know. i thought it was nice that he took the money from the father and gave it to the son. and then, bam.

this whole episode felt out of order/place. i think they didn't film it in chrono order.

Yeah, it has been all over the place. Nine episodes in, and we still haven't had a good villain yet either. Teddy was a disaster. Ronaldo was cut short.

Glory be the days of Escobar, The Carver, and Ava.

I agree with both of you. This season has been all over the place. The only steady arc going on right now is Matt in prison. Looks like that will be the focus for next week's episode. Anyway, I agree that Christian was very despiscable in this episode. Jealousy is one thing but to go so far as setting the brother up just because he wants Sean all for himself? Also, what happened to Christian's son? It's like he totally disappeared this season.

I don't know what angle they're going with for Christian anymore. Framing Sean's brother was bad enough, but forging Sean's signature, that's just irredeemable, far as I'm concerned. Yeah, trying to help that kid was great and all, but he's lying to Sean and jeopardizing their business. Does he really think Sean's not gonna find out?!?

It's not that Christian has to clean up his act completely, but damn! No matter how many lessons people have tried to teach him, no matter how many women have come along to convince him that he should change his views on love and relationships, he just flat out refuses. It really has become infuriating that after six season, he hasn't really changed. If anything, he's gotten worse.

wilbur?!?

it's weird that they made him very rootable when he was so angry about what that guy was doing to his son, and then to have him do such messed up stuff in another storyline. It was strange.

wilbur?!?

yeah! I forgot his name for a moment there. He was shown in the season premiere for a bit but then vanished. They could at least show him in the background playing with toys or something so we know Christian isn't totally neglecting his kid.

i know weird. instead of having a threesome on his bed.

I still love this show and the characters, its one of the few shows Ive been with since the beginning but damn the writers are almost as inconsistent as the Heroes writers. This show has really become a sad caricature of its former self

It's kind of been that way since season 4. It's just become even more noticeable in seasons 5 and 6.

I still think taking them out of Miami and putting them in L.A. was a mistake. Sean being the lead actor on a TV show called Hearts n' Scalpels was the biggest absurdity, with Liz and Christian hooking up being a close second.
