The move to L.A. was pretty pointless. Honestly part of the reason I loved the first 3 seasons was because it was in Miami. It just fit perfectly for the show. N/T's problem now is that it's basically A Series of Unfortunate Events, with the writers trying to outthink absurd plot lines by ending them before they've hatched and throwing more crap on the wall and seeing what will stick.

I still love this show and the characters, its one of the few shows Ive been with since the beginning but damn the writers are almost as inconsistent as the Heroes writers. This show has really become a sad caricature of its former self

i was trying to figure out how to put my feelings about the show, and that statement perfectly expresses it/

It's kind of been that way since season 4. It's just become even more noticeable in seasons 5 and 6.

I still think taking them out of Miami and putting them in L.A. was a mistake. Sean being the lead actor on a TV show called Hearts n' Scalpels was the biggest absurdity, with Liz and Christian hooking up being a close second.

i don't agree that it was a mistake. i think they should have made it a reset button instead of ending up being EXACTLY the same. it was mean to refresh, but everyone else moved there too, which made it really pointless.

but it had potential.

^Agree, the move to L.A. was rendered rather pointless once everyone else followed them..they should have stayed in Miami.

I really like how the season started off, it had this depressing tone underlining the characters/storylines and I actually thought the whole thing with Teddy was going to last at least half a season, now they totally forgot about her. Sean doesn't even seem shook up by the fact that she was killed and that she was going only after his money.

Like everyone else has said, it has been all over the place but since we have 10 episodes left there's still time for it to be redeemed.

well Sean did try to commit suicide so I think that's considered "shook up" IMO.

Yes, but that only happened on the next episode. I'm not saying Sean should try to commit suicide every now and then, but he is acting all normal as if Teddy wasn't an essential part of his life. He could just mention how devastated he is or show something related to that.
But then again, Wilbur is nowhere to be seen :hehe:

Tonight is the season finale (it's on right now on the east coast). In 3 weeks, the last season will start up and finish the series in March.

As soon as I saw what he did... man that guy is such a *****e bag.. I hope he and Christian get it

Poor Kimber. As awful as she is, I still feel badly for her. Christian really has no soul  Which is why I had to roll my eyes when he turned away from the prisoner dying.

it wouldn't surprise me if the show ends with Christian alone...by himself. these past 2 episodes really made him into an ass.

well the preview make it look like either Matt or Christian will die

I mean they did say a major major major character would die, maybe Julia or Matt, something that brings about the division and major change in both "brothers."

You know, i still really like this show but what in god's name are the writers doing to Christian??? Its ridiculous. Whatever happened to the guy who in season 3 was willing to cut off his arm to save Sean from the Carver? I always felt like for all of Christians macho posturing, deep down he had a heart of gold and loved Sean like a brother. These days i'm not so sure anymore. They've made him so selfish. Ever since season 5 where he was screwing around with Julia behind Sean's back, Christian has become incredibly unlikeable.

I kinda rolled my eyes when Christian all of a sudden jumped at the chance to free Matt. Wasn't it just a few episodes ago where he was trying to convince Sean that there was no hope for Matt and he belonged in jail?

Seriously if it wasn't for Dylan Walsh's exceptional and consistent portrayal of Sean, i would've jumped ship after season 4.

Man I can't believe Nip/Tuck is almost over but when it ends in march Breaking Dad and the United States Of Tara will be back on. So I will be able too get over it quickly But still there will be no show as over the top as Nip/Tuck.

well, he thought it was a good idea until he met matt's prison friend, and he wanted to get him out of there.

agree with the rest tho.

Matt and Christian are so unlikeable this season. I mean it's getting to the point where I can't stand Christian. I've always disliked Matt, but Christian had a rogueish charm, even when he was being a bastard. But not in this season.

In the preview for the final episodes it looks like Sean and Christian are at odds. The best thing about that preview is Escobar is back(well ghost Escobar).

Sean and Christian are at odds...what else is new? lol

I did enjoy the reference they made about dumping bodies in swamps...I chuckled at that.

I thought Matt was gonna do the right thing, but alas....can i blame him?

i know. but he went out of his way to lie. i think most would have kept their mouth shut.
