I know some people have said that was just Nintendo being lazy and reusing character models, but I think they did that quite deliberately to highlight the parallel nature of the two worlds, so I think they'll keep them.

I can just imagine the boss battles in updated graphics, man Majora's Incarnation and Wrath will look pretty awesome and scary with some HD graphics.

I'd say there is a good shot we'll get it for the 3DS. I kind of wondered if the fact that Majora's Mask is one of the first things we see in A Link Between Worlds wasn't a hint. It's pretty prominent for a mere Easter egg.

Anybody played Link Between Worlds? I haven't heard anybody talk about it in here and I'm curious what people think.

Awesome. I'm gonna get a 3DS for Christmas, either from my parents or with Christmas cash. This'll probably be the first game I pick up.

I was reading some reviews earlier, and everybody seems to love it. I'm getting super excited about this game, and it makes me want to go replay Link to the Past before I pick it up.

Yeah it's a 10/10 for me. It's everything I could want from a portable Zelda game. It's fantastic

Epic game!

The first Zelda game I played was Oracle of Ages, so I've always had a soft spot for the handheld Zelda games. If this one impresses me as much as Minish Cap did, I'll be happy.

The DS games kinda disappointed me, so I can't wait to see how the 3DS ones fare once I finally get one.

It's a nice homage to A Link to the Past, but, overall, I'd say it's a pretty forgettable Zelda title. After seeing Ocarina of Time come to life (again) on the 3DS, I was rather underwhelmed by this one. But Nintendo may have set the standard impossibly high with that one.

I'd probably give this a more favorable review if they hadn't shown what the 3DS could do with Ocarina of Time.

So good game, worth picking up, but it doesn't hold a candle to its older brother.

It is a fantastic game. I couldn't possibly give it anymore praise.

I've just gotten to Lorule and I'm stumped :hehe:

I was supposed to be getting a PS4 for Xmas. But there are no games I find interesting just yet. So I'm just getting the Wii U Wind Waker HD bundle.

I'm afraid to talk to anybody what with the prices in Lorule for things :D

Play the Lorule rupee game, I made out with 500 rupees in 30 seconds. Just have a timer on you.

It's not an homage to LTTP, it's a sequel. And your comparison to OOT makes me think the core of your issue is that you prefer 3D Zelda adventures. The 3D and 2D Zeldas tend to be pretty different beasts even if they share some core elements.

Sequel, homage, potato, potato with these games. I just wish Link had kept some of his items, seeing how this is supposed to be a sequel.

I do prefer 3D. It utterly blows 2D out of the water, if done right. Though this does incorporate some 3D elements.

I suppose once you get to play the best Zelda title on a handheld, everything else falls at least a little short.

Man I wish I had a 3DS and Wii U! I'm thinking about getting a Wii U but it might not be until next year and then the Zelda bundle might be all gone!

Yeah, I'm the opposite really. I find myself preferring the 2D Zeldas most of the time. OOT is great, but I don't think it's near my favorite on the list.

The 2D Zelda's are great, I have trouble deciding all the time if I like 3D or 2D Zelda better. To me there were both great until the mechanics of the DS and Wii made things difficult for me to enjoy the game as much as I should have. Although I haven't spent too much time on PH, ST, or SS.
