I think it could work and sell well, although depending on which version they use. Something tells me WW Ganon.I don't know that a Ganondorf game would be something that'd do very well. I'd still probably check it out, I'm a sucker for Zelda related stuff.
Hmm. I wouldn't want Ganondorf to be an anti-hero. Not every villain needs to have redeeming qualities or a rare soft side. Ganondorf to me is a straight up badguy, Satan incarnate for Hyrule. To make him somewhat relatable just to justify playing as him? I rather play as him and see him at his most deplorable.
Kill Screen Daily points out some inspiring news for gamers in general and for Legend of Zelda fans in particular: Dark Horse Comics and Nintendo's collaborative hardcover book on the history of Hyrule, "The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia," is the top selling book on Amazon and has managed to top the New York Times Best Seller list!
The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia was originally released in 2010 as a Japanese-only release - much to the chagrin of Zelda fans in Europe, North America, and other regions. That release was a collaborative effort between Nintendo and Japanese book publisher Shogakukan offering an inside look at never-before-seen concept art, design plans, storyboards and an official timeline of the Zelda series in the twenty-five years since it was first introduced on the Famicom.
Have you seen this? I thought it was hilarious.

Where did you see that?
I'm not saying this won't be a good game, just that I'd take something in the style of Ocarina of Time over something in the style of A Link to the Past in a heartbeat.
