HD TP makes sense. It's a rather dull surprise, but it makes sense. Unless they've been working on something secretly for a while, I don't see what else they could have ready by 2016. Majora's Mask actually would have made sense, since fans have been begging for it since Ocarina of Time got ported to the 3DS. But that comes out next month.

I guess a New 3DS port of some sort might be possible, if they're already working on it.

Or maybe some cool DLC for Zelda Wii U.

I don't thinks it is dull has it is the second best Zelda game ever and the best OOT is already out on 3ds so its not like they are going to do 00T in HD any time soon and SS is to new to do in HD. So TP is the best to do and yeah with MM on 3ds this year if they ever do MM in HD it will be a while. 3DS doesn't need another port remake they are already getting there second in MM and wii u has only gotten one so its time for another one on wii u. We don't need to have 3 remakes on 3ds and only 1 wii u remake.

I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on that first part.

Having said that, I would still much rather have a portable version than a game, since I can already play it on my Wii U. But HD remasters are all the rage right now.

But hey, I have Majora's Mask, so I don't really care that much anymore.

Hyrule Warriors 2 would be pretty easy to get by next year. Those games tend to be have high turnovers since assets are highly recycled from one installment to the next. They could easily have a second ready to go by 2016 (It'd work well, too, since the main appeal of the game is having a variety of Zelda character from different games/eras as playable). A Link Between Worlds was released in 2013, so it's been awhile. Assuming they will use the same engine, another mainline Zelda is pretty feasible, though it'll probably be a late year release if it happens.

Oh yeah I don't really no how many polygons MM was and how that compares to the games of today and I don't really now how much work or how it works to remake a game in HD. Yeah Xenoblade dose look pretty cool the game world just looks massive but yeah its not a hugh franchise like Zelda and with the wii u not saleing great it would probly hurt if they had to push Zelda back even though that would make it 30 years. Yeah I heard that about WW HD not taking much time and yeah they may already have a few people working on TP and after Zelda wii u comes out they may then have those people join in on TP HD. Would the annoce TP HD this year though? I would think that they may weight to next year to annoce it because I don't know if they want to annnoce it before Zelda wii u comes out.

Hm, I don't know, it could go either way. I don't think the announcement of a HD remaster is going to take away from the newest installment that, I expect, will be the Nintendo highlight of E3 2015. But I could easily seem them waiting up the beginning of 2016 to actually announce it, though.

Yeah u can play it on the wii u but it is not going to make it look much better like a wii u HD TP would and I always prefer that option over the 3ds just because it will look better and I don't play handheld much.

Yeah its just with Nintendo they may weight. I mean we got Hrule late part of 2014 and yet the didn't say any thing about MM on 3ds in till like 2 weeks ago. I think they didn't realvie wind waker HD and link between worlds at the same time either so I just don't know if they would want to reavlie to 2 Zelda games around the same time even if one is just a HD remaster and not a new game. I guess that is true about the a new Zelda 3ds game by next year if they use the same engine. I mean OOT and MM used the same Engine back in the day and they where only like a year apart.

It would be interesting if they used the Link Between Worlds engine for a Link's Awakening style game.

Yeah, most likely they will wait to announce it and all, but I don't it really has anything to do with them worrying about it taking any kind of spotlight from Zelda U if they do.

Also, you're getting a little mixed up, I think. Majora's Mask 3D was actually announced late last year, I want to say in a September Direct (somewhere around that time) it was the Limited Edition that and was just announced a few weeks ago.

There was two years difference between OOT and MM, but a lot of that came from MM actually starting development for the 64DD, I believe, but was shifted to when the 64DD didn't take off.

I am pretty sure that both the new 3ds and MM 3d where not announced in till the jan direct and that before that there where just rumors about both of those but maybe it was the new 3ds that just had rumors before and didn't get the announced in till jan now I am not sure lol. 64DD?

The 64DD was a disc drive add on for the N64. It was only released in Japan and didn't do particularly well. Several games being developed for it later turned into other projects.

Oh I didn't know about the DD thing.

Cool concept, but implemented too late and probably too expensive. By that point the Dreamcast was already out and the PS2 were around the corner (which would actually be cheaper).

No, it was first announced in a November Direct via a trailer, I did some searching. As I said, it was the Limited Edition that was announced in January along with the New 3DS XL MM Limited Edition.

If the sales figures I saw for Hyrule Warriors was correct, we will be seeing a Hyrule Warriors 2. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo has Koei Tecmo hold it off for the 30th anniversery.

Right we didn't know the feb 13 date for MM and for the NEW 3ds in till jan though. Even still form the time the first announced MM to the time it comes out is only like 3 months November for a feb realise date.

Well, you said announced in all your posts, I thought you were talking about the actual announcement of the title not the date. You need to be a little clearer in your posts and also structure your posts a little better as well. Everything kind of runs together.

While I thought they did announce it in jan not November but that was my mistake I had for got about the November diert announcement of MM on 3DS. So my bad.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Introduces More From The World Of Termina. January 26, 2015 . 9:00am

The game’s official Twitter account shares a look at more characters.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask producer Eiji Aonuma has been sharing videos and screenshots to introduce people to the world of Termina. We previously saw some of the populace of Clock Town, and the latest batch of screenshots from the official Twitter account shares more.

As his name suggests, the Postman works for the postal service in town. They say that he’s a very timely person.

Here’s the Banker who holds onto Link’s Rupees. His shop location has changed from the previous game; perhaps it has something to do with “time equals money”…

The Empty Bottle lets you fill it up with water, put insects and fairies inside. They’re pretty useful, so it might be a good idea to get as many of these as you can.

This here is the late King of the kingdom of Ikana, Igos du Ikana. His name is a little difficult to remember. and they say that he can be found somewhere isolated from humans.

Rupees are the currency of Termina. Green counts for 1, blue for 5, red for 20, purple for 50, silver for 100, and gold along with other colors for 200. They say that somewhere in Clock Town, there’s a hidden 100 Rupees, somewhere…

It looks like Link here is performing something with his ocarina. There’s a song called the “Song of Time” that lets you go back in time.

Finally, here’s the bow, quite a familiar item. In addition to regular arrows, they can also shoot fire, ice, and light arrows. For fire arrows, you’ll need to set them on fire first, so you might need a little patience before they heat up.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is slated for release in North America and Europe on February 13, 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS.

Something I would like to see for the anniversary next year, but is why out there, is a either eShop releases or remakes of the Broadcast Satellite Zelda games. I'm not sure how feasible it is, but I would like to be able to play them, apparently they aren't very long games or anything, but I would still like to see a piece of that history that's lost to pretty much everyone now.

I would also kind of like to play the CD-i Zeldas, but that's more of a pure morbid curiosity.
