I agree with the first part but both TP and SWS are better then WW but they are all great.

If you ask me, Twilight Princess was merely a small step backwards compared to Wind Waker; while Skyward Sword was a major step backwards to both.

IMO, while some gameplay choices were welcomed, Skyward Sword seems to do the impossible feat of doing too samey and not too different. All three games had good beginnings, but in the end what really mattered was the pay off.

Aside from gameplay issues (that itself is a thesis waiting to be written), I felt that the story and characters is one of the hugest downgrades of any Zelda games..... Well, depends if one were to count the really old ones.

While I think time and TP are easily the best 2 Zelda games ever so I think TP is a major step up form WW. I think TP had a better story, soundtrack, dungeons then WW did and the last fight with ganon was great! Now SWS I think had a weak story but the dugeons where great and the very last dugeon was awesome and very different so I think SWS was a big step down form TP but still better then WW.

So I said something about this in the Wii u thread but no one responded to it so I figured I would ask this hear. Dose any one find it interesting that wind waker a lot of people complained that the game was to short. Most Zelda games have 8-10 dungeons and wind waker had 7 but so did SWS but yet no one really complained about SWS being to short like windwaker why is that?

Hatin' on Wind Waker *tsk, tsk*

Wind waker is still great just about ever Zelda game is. That is why Zelda is so great even the worst Zelda games are still really good if not great but I think WW is the most overrated Zelda game and SWS the most underrated Zelda game.

I've never heard anyone complain about WW being too short. I've heard the opposite mainly because of that goddamn Triforce quest at the end.

So if anyone shops at Gamestop and happens to have their reward program thing, they just put up these awesome Majora's Mask 24 X 36 themed posters. They're 6,800 points a piece.

WW didn't feel short to me exactly because of the hellish Triforce quest.

I personally feel that Majora's Mask is the perfect length. With Ocarina of Time – which I love, by the way – I found that the game dragged a bit towards the end. I think they should have cut an adult temple. Make it optional post-game.

But then Majora's Mask had such a lively world, the dungeons / temples weren't even the focus.

Really? I now a lot of people hated the triforce quest thing witch I think they either took out or shorted in the wii u verson but I have also heard quit a few people say that WW need more dugeons are that it felt like there was a dungeon or 2 cut form the game or something. I know that Nintendo talked about how a few dungeons where cut form the game or something and people where wondering if they would be added back on the wii u HD one. SWS also with 7 but I never heard people say that they felt like it was missing a dugeon or anything like that. When I went though WW I never felt like it was missing a dugeon or anything. Maybe people liked WW more and just didn't want the game to end and maybe people felt like SWS wasn't has good and where ready for it to end or something. Even though TP had more dugeons then WW I think TP was easier then WW.

Yeah I heard MM only had like 4 dungeons so like 40- 50% of a normal Zelda game but that the dungeons where harder. MM is like the only conserle Zelda game that I havnt played a lot of. I played it some but not even close to has much has the another ones. You said you felt like OOT dragged a little towards the end so what temple would you have cut then?

Are...are you and zenith the same person?

You mean from time lol

No. Thunder means Majora's Mask, and for good reason. MM may not have been the technical leap that Time was, but in terms of how the game was structured it was far more daring than Time, or any Zelda game since. Ocarina more or less stuck with the formula set by LTTP, and most Zelda games since have followed the same overall structure established by LTTP. MM did not stick to the LTTP formula, and as far as I'm concerned pulled it off masterfully and became the most interesting game in the series.

The Triforce quest.... Was garbage. Still, I found Twilight Princess to be a downgrade of Wind Waker in a few areas. For example: WW Link can pick up defeated enemies' weapons. TP Link can... Turn into a wolf? K. So what does Skyward Sword have? Quite a few things, actually..... Too bad design isn't one of them.

As cool as Lord of the Rings: Zelda edition was, it truly needed some replay value and detail. Wind Waker was adequate in that area, whereas for Twilight Princess was on the right track, it just didn't have the factor Wind Waker exceeded in.

It also doesn't help that Twilight Princess felt like another version of Ocarina of Time. At least Wind Waker tried to change up a few things.

Now one would think that I would like Skyword Sword a lot.... No. I don't have much fondness for that game compared to the others. For a prequel to the entire franchise, it's an even bigger downgrade to a downgrade (twilight princess). It was the game that thought putting the minigame from Twilight princess as the traveling mechanic was a good idea!

I found Wind Waker to be superior in characterization to Twilight Princess. They actually made Ganondorf an interesting character.

I liked the wolf thing it was different and cool. One thing I liked about WW was how you could do the A push thing when the button would flash and it would make link do that kind of doug spin attack thing. No another Zelda game has had that before. Lord of the rings Zelda edition? What is that supposed to mean? Putting the minigame form TP has traveling mechanice what? and like the sea thing in WW didn't get old?

While I found TP to be superior in both story and characterization to WW.
