The mini game from twilight princess was the flying Minigame. For some reason the developers thought it was a good idea to bring it back... While still not putting analog controls.

I don't recall this mingame? Is there a video of it on youtube or anything?

i never replayed Skyward Sword after I beat it once... Completely forgot about hero mode. I never played that one, what exactly is it? just harder?

It's the Happy Masks Salesman if that's not super clear. What could it mean!?

And in other Zelda stuff, I picked up my copy of Codename Steam and got the Majora's Mask pin. It's really nice. But I went to a friend's afterward, and he got me a copy of Codename for a late Christmas gift, and he got the pre-order pin, too. So, I ended up with two MM pins and free copy of Codename Steam since I hadn't opened my copy yet. Got the Skull Kid figure, the Skull Kid poster, and two MM pins. I have all the Majora.

Might Zelda Wii U secretly be a new Hero of Time game?

Well, it won't be a significant role. But it might be in-between, like a vendor or something if masks play a part in someway.

There's a big Times article with Iwata, mostly about their mobile stuff, but there's one thing in particular about Zelda, remember the Zelda Netflix thing that WSJ posted? Yeah...

As of now, I have nothing new to share with you in regard to the use of our IPs for any TV shows or films, but I can at least confirm that the article in question is not based on correct information.

He doesn't outright say it's not a thing, but it's probably...not a thing.

It's true it what the people that were known as Joystiq put up

Nintendo quashes talk of a live-action 'Legend of Zelda' series

| 7hrs ago

We hope you weren't planning your Netflix viewing schedule around that rumored Legend of Zelda live-action series... you're about to have your hopes dashed. Nintendo chief Satoru Iwata tells Time that talk of the game-based show is "not based on correct information." There's "nothing new to share" about any Nintendo brands showing up in movies or TV, he says. The executive isn't outright denying things, but you probably don't want to count on seeing a gritty portrayal of Link's adventures any time soon. It's probably just as well if the series never comes to pass -- the last time Zelda got a series, it didn't get a warm reception.

I know it's true? The source that Joystiq reference is the source I just posted.

well technically they not joystiq or joystiq is now part of engadets Anyway I was only saying more then one place is pointing to the same place as the source. when that happens it's cofimatio as it's the same it being multiples places too . that's all I ment

Nintendo also denied the existence of the XL, but then released it anyway. That said, I still don't see Nintendo making or allowing someone to make an adaption of their games any time soon.

Well, that's a little different. That's easily explained by wanting to sell as many OG 3DS models as possible before the redesign, typical shady business stuff. I see no real reason for them to do that here.

Honestly, I think Netflix or someone associated with then sent Nintendo a pitch, and someone let this be known sort of off the record, and it circulated around until someone at WSJ got wires crossed about how official it was. I wouldn't be surprised if that's how it went down, pretty much like those Sony e-mails about the Mario movie only without the hacking bit.

Am I the only one that thinks the new Zelda game for Wii U will get pushed back until 2016?

No, a lot of people have speculated that due to how little we've been shown and Zelda's tendency to get delayed in the past. But I'm pretty confident it'll come out in 2015. It's been said the game has been worked on in some capacity since Skyward Sword (so 2011), and they even almost showed a trailer at E3 2013, but it was pulled last minute.

I think the reason we've seen so little is a combination of things. One is Nintendo's changing policy of announcing/showing stuff much closer to actual release than ahead of time (for instance, we didn't know the release date for Smash U until a month before the date, which made a lot of people think it would get delayed into 2015), they need a good showcase for E3, and I think they understand past frustration with Zelda has come from delays, so they've waited much longer to really say anything about this entry.

Much like Smash U, I expect they'll pool as many resources as they can to get this out of the door. There's really not another game they have on the books that can fill the need for a big holiday game, and even if the idea of "saving" the Wii U is out the window, you really need to have something for that period to at least get an extra boost and stimulate the stream of buyers you are having.

Saying that, it won't surprise me or anything if it does get delayed, but I think with all those factors mentioned it has a good chance if hitting this year.

I think it'll release late this year, like what happened with Smash Bros. But...if it needs a few more months...I'll let that happen. Cause it'll mean it'll be even better by the time we get it.

Hopefully the game will be playable at E3 and we get some story details. I hope the game comes out in Nove, her like most Zelda games do.

It's definitely coming out this year. There's no chance Nintendo is gonna **** the bed on a big holiday release. No way.

Am I the only one that thinks the new Zelda game for Wii U will get pushed back until 2016?

no lol. I think it will but I hope hope I am wrong. I think it will because it has been said time and time again that it is coming after star fox and we no nothing about star fox witch makes me think that star fox is going to be late this year like November or December and so if Zelda is after that it would be 2016. Also with knowing nothing about star fox yet I would say there is no change at it coming out in the summer time and I think it would have to be summer time if Zelda is really coming after it and still going to be 2015. At the same time Nintendo has said time and time again that Zelda is going to be 2015 so who knows.

I'll believe it when I see it - that sort of thing :hehe:
I have a feeling it's going to be a 2016 release though.

The Legend of Zelda Wii U Delayed Out Of 2015

Hello, Zelda fans! I am Eiji Aonuma, producer of The Legend of Zelda.

I'd like to share with you an update on our development process on The Legend of Zelda for Wii U. Since I declared at The Game Awards in December that the game would launch in 2015, the directors and the many members of the development team have been working hard developing the game to make it the best it can be. In these last three months, as the team has experienced firsthand the freedom of exploration that hasn't existed in any Zelda game to date, we have discovered several new possibilities for this game.

As we have worked to turn these possibilities into reality, new ideas have continued to spring forth, and it now feels like we have the potential to create something that exceeds even my own expectations. As I have watched our development progress, I have come to think that rather than work with meeting a specific schedule as our main objective, and releasing a game that reflects only what we can create within that scheduled time, I feel strongly that our focus should be to bring all these ideas to life in a way that will make The Legend of Zelda on Wii U the best game it can possibly be.

So, I must apologize to you all that were expecting the game by year's end, but we are no longer making a 2015 release our number one priority. Instead, our priority is to make it the most complete and ultimate Zelda game. I hope to use the added time to make The Legend of Zelda for Wii U into a game that will reward you for your patience, so thank you for your continued support

You actually thought it was going release on schedule? The only Zelda games that have are the 3DS ports.
