I would prefer that style. But maybe next time.

Oh wow, I've never seen that before.
I would prefer that style. But maybe next time.
After Spaceworld, I know to expect the unexpected from Nintendo when it comes to Zelda.

I actually prefer the more stylized look of games like Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. The Gamecube WW still looks good to this day, it's visuals still hold up and that's because of the style. Ultimately, the WiiU can't compare graphically to the Xbone and PS4 so it makes a ton of sense for them to make it look stylized rather than photo-realistic. Just my thoughts on the matter at least.
Yeah I always accepted Wind Waker and thought it was great. I have friends though that claimed to hate it, called it Cellda (it was done online too) and now all of the sudden love it and rank it in your their top five.
I never hated Wind Waker, but I had mixed feelings about the graphics style. I actually thought it had the best characterization of the three main characters.
Skyward Sword is probably my favorite art style of any Zelda game thus far. Good balance between cartoony and real, and it seemed to fit the franchise best. I really don't dig the gritty, darker Zelda art style.
Story line wise I like MM best, as it seems to break away from the traditional Zelda mold. I'm really curious how close to the usual story tropes the Wii U Zelda sticks to. Also really want an official title for the game.
OOT is a lot like Super Mario 64 in that I respect what it did for its respective genre and just gaming in general for the 3D era, but it's not one of my favorites, either. I enjoy it, but there's several other titles I enjoyed a good deal more.
I loved it as soon as I saw it. Admittedly, I was young when it came out (7th grade I think) so I wasn't all that concerned that it was "kiddy".
I feel that OOT is greatly over rated. Don't get me wrong.. I love it, but I in no way feel th game is the measuring stick that all Zelda games should be measured against.
