I mean...this is the MLB thread and Texas is in the MLB...and my favorite team so I wanna post about their game...ignore it if it bothers you...LOL!

The in game box scores on Fangraphs are pretty neat. You can see real time FIP, WPA charts, wOBA, and other nerdy crap like that as the game progresses.

Joe Saunders has a lovely .375 BABIP and FIP over 5 during his start so far. Thank God he's only given up 2 runs.

Wait. I spend a good chunk of last season pointing out the extreme luck factor in the success of the Texas Rangers and wind up getting raked for it by you guys. Now everybody is already sick of them and their fans? Awesome.



In other news the Angels are only a game behind the Rangers.

I have no issue with anything, this IS the baseball thread after all...the Rangers are doing well and they deserve the attention

wOBA (weighted on-base average) is basically a more detailed version of OPS.
