Everyone was complaining about Melo playing with Lin.........................Stat looks like he can't play with anyone. He looks so bad right now. I don't know if he's hurt or just sucks right now but he needs to sit down for awhile. When he's in the game, Dallas seems to go on a run and when he goes out, the Knicks go on a run. Coincidence? I think not!

EDIT: Looks like Knicks are making this game close, but the players other than Lin must step up more.

Yeah more and more it looks like Stat is the one who can't gel with the roster. He's been playing different this year. I never seen a player with his talent go up so soft to the basket. I know people who play harder than the way he's playing.

Amare was terrible the first 3 quarters -22 with him...I along with a group of fans on a blog were yelling for dantoni to keep him out. But he did ok in the 4th.

But damn that was an awesome game

Great win and possible the biggest victory of the season for Knicks. Lin was a beast! 28 pts plus 14 assists in 45 min. of play time. I think the Knicks would've lost this game if not for Lin; he really step it up after the last game. However, he still needs to cut down on his TO; 7 is still too many.

Dallas did a good job on Lin with the trap, but he freaking played like 46 minutes this game.

I watched the game in a bar in Boston... the traditional enemy to all New York sports teams.... they were cheering every time the Knicks scored. Linsanity transcends state-lines and old rivalries. It's crazy.

I dont like to make comparisons,but the game he resembles is alot like Tony Parker with a 3 point shot and some Nash passing...His game can translate well and if he plays like this throughout you can never tell how far this team can go.

If JR Smith can play into this system, Melo can master it...There were so many times this team looked bad without Lin on the floor...Melo can help that

ESPN lilkes to build players up just to knock them down. That artcle title is great. I have no doubt that the author of the article didn't think anything of it. Ironically it was probably closet racist that only saw that as racist.

I agree that the context wasn't racist, but at the same time you have to pay close attention to how you word these things so it doesn't come off as that. The headline thing shouldn't have happened and should not have even been put on the site. How do so many people miss that?

With Bretos, I don't think he should have been suspended because the context of what he was saying it in was obvious.
